HUGE Capcom Leak Due To Ransomware - You can thank the group called "Ragnar Locker"

Last I heard the Hyrule Warriors sequel might have broken all company records for preorders, that's a pretty big difference if that's the case.

Ryza did over 100,000 in sales and the limited edition of the sequel for the west sold out in a few days which is very rare, but Hyrule warriors even topped that apparently.

Your post suggested there was a difference between Koei Tecmo and Gust. They've been part of the same company for years.

I'm sure they make good money off of the Hyrule Warriors games, but those are owned by Nintendo. They're only published by Koei Tecmo in Japan. Nintendo is the one making the most off of them. Koei likely collects a royalty from the international sales. Franchises they own are going to be far more important to a larger company like them.

The fuck is this

Also where is my Dragon's Dogma

The amount of money KoeiTecmo's made from atelier Ryza gives me assurance that the uncreative, practical and pragmatic japanese businessman will ultimately ignore western "PC ideology" in favor of tighter shorts and big, fat honking thighs.

Things are going to be rougher for the japanese entertainment industry (particularly video games, but anime, manga, and illustrations have been also on the crosshairs several times before) since Trump seems to be on his way out as the main 24/7 topic for internet american authoritarians to complain about. I generally trust the japs to stand their ground and I wish for western artists and creators to do the same against this internet bullying and in(s)ane PC culture.

On a small side note, I do wish Atelier Ryza wasn't such a massive downgrade over the older Atelier games in top of the usual DLCfest that cost more than the game itself

By that logic, shouldn't they boycott Steven Universe because Rebecca Sugar drew Ed, Edd and Eddy porn?

I don't trust the leaks. I think lots of them are fake. Remember this is an extortion attempt. There is no proof that the woke power point presentation is real.
The extortion attempt relies on the company actually realizing they're losing their actual data. Another group that hit Ubisoft leaked mapping tools they used to develop Watch Dogs Legion, the newest game in the series, as well as most of the game's assets. Usually what is done is they'll lock up some small part of their files, extort them for that, if it's not paid for they dump it. Then they'll try to find a way back in and then extort them for another set of files.

I really hope the unreleased bit of that 1TB has more older stuff in it and am hopeful due to the Tronne Bonne leak.

If this wins up getting us CPS2 game source or arcade schematics/docs the MAME community is going to shit the bed. Some CPS2 boards have battery-powered killswitches that brick them when the battery dies and being able to revive bricked machines would be wonderful.
The community has already figured out how to get around the suicide battery issue. With and without hacks.

Trump not being in office means the libtards will start attacking other libtards. They're not going to give two shits about Japan.

so is there a real copy that is easily magnet-ed or something? this looks like a big directory listing?
Wish Granted... Magnet Link:
magnet:?xt=urn:btih:e6be0bc550b0fd4acdb35238f02b9e34bb90e006&dn=00%5F%E5%88%86%E9%A1%9E%E5%AF%BE%E8%B1%A1%E5%A4%96%5FID442

I just got finished downloading the 4th archive folder they had on their site (CAPCOM4_ID442) and it's all the TronBonne stuff (at least i think... I don't speak Japanese but the folders DO say "Tron"). The entire folder (including sub-folders and files) is 3.76GB

Instead of magneting the actual zip, I just did the folder to make it easier for everyone, just in case they only want certain files rather than the whole thing. As I'm typing this it still says "verifying local data" so if nothing pops up on your end when torrenting, thats why. Give it a while, and it'll start to download for you. Also my VPN might shit the bed, and when that happens it blocks all internet traffic till I reboot it, so don't panic if it stops out of nowhere.

MAKE SURE TO SEED!!! I have this on an external hard drive and am leaving my computer on overnight. Will check on it in the morning.

P.S. I've never used TOR before, so I had no idea download speeds on it were a btich. EVen after adding more bridges and disabling javascript, this shit kept crapping out and going as slow as ass.

P.P.S. THEY ARE STILL ADDING MORE SHIT TO THEIR SITE!! They now have an archive 5 and 6 that's split into multiple parts.

Neat, I haven't looked into it in a couple years. That was an interesting rabbithole to go back down, looks like the hardware hacking side of the arcade scene has made some major advances. Still hopeful this leak leads to some new MAME drivers.

The idea of Capcom going woke is highly worrying, no more Cammy and R.Mika baring their buttcheeks for all to see?
I know I'm late in replying to this, but Capcom already gave R.Mika the cover-up ever since ESPN lost their shit during EVO 2016

Cammy got a minor cover up because apparently crotch shots are a no-no

Look up the InfinityKey-CPS2. It is now possible to "bring back" dead CPS2 boards.
The harsh reality is, that games like Primal Rage will never be properly emulated because the only reason the CPS board games were unlocked was that they had a load of bodies to throw at the project.

Primal Rage isn't liked by that many people so nobody is going to bother unlocking the boards.
