Honestly we can’t even tell from the angle if it got flicked away or went down her shirt. The bug has a 50% chance of being swallowed into her chest crevices, never to be seen again.

A truly horrible way to die. Like the Sarlaac, but sweatier.

I found the segment with the bug @ 11:08.

She probably killed it when she slapped her sausage fingers on it.

Amber's thought process: "I want to do nothing and eat myself to death and film the whole thing but I don't want anyone to have any negative opinions about what I'm doing" What does she expect, for us to applaud her???

I'll humor you, Big Al. If you've lost 1,000 pounds in your life, that means you've gained over 1,500 pounds. That's three quarters of a ton. That's more than most pickup trucks in the country are rated to carry.

I do know of a man who was bed bound by obesity and died of starvation. His internet friend died from obesity and he got a severe phobia of eating after that. I can't find his story because it seems more than one super obese person died of starvation. Some live though! This guy went like 380 days without food. Started at almost 500, ended at 180 lbs.
Usually it is malnutrition rather than actual starvation. Severe vitamin D deficiency from lack of sunlight, and other micronutrient deficiencies from eating poor quality processed and non nutritive junk foods. Then factor in general poor health from obesity such as diabetes, renal failure, bad circulation etc... and the body ceases to function or heal itself. Towards the end many of these people do lose weight rapidly as their body pretty much eats itself as a self preservation mechanism.

But isn't eating only "whole foods" restriction and.. therefore.. going to cause her to binge?

Also I wanted to make some joke about how she panics and eats a lot when she thinks she isn't allowed more food, but honestly that just further proves that she NEEDS therapy. Having to obsessively prove to yourself that you have limitless access to food isn't normal.

I think she means she's eating "whole" foods like she'll eat the "whole" pizza, and the "whole" orange chicken, and the "whole" Chinese buffet.
