Sweet man, thanks. I have a copy of The Poetic Edda (Oxford World's Classics, Carolyne Larrington translation) on my shelf. Are there any translations of the sagas that you would recommend, or just go with whichever I find?

This is true in a way because I am always around period, there is nobody else competent that knows how to scale web infrastructure to massive scale in this niche. There's only a handful of sites that get big enough to have issues to where they need real operations engineering, and generally subversive Internet stuff can't have ads or payment processing or basically anything, so they gotta find someone good at this stuff to work basically for free. I always end up doing shit for people below market rates because I believe in this stuff. Nobody else is. I'd honestly like to stop, but there's nobody that has stepped up to replace me. Seriously, please take my job. I don't really like working the job of 3 people for 1/20th normal salary. I can make money way more profitable ways, but then again there would have been no ED golden age in dotcom era, or Daily Stormer. The Internet would be a lot lesser for it.

The Larrington translation is actually really good. Was the first Edda I read. Bellows is nice too, sounds more elegant, but Larrington quite good. That one is just fine, read it through.

The other side of it is that I have exceptional levels of experience with nonwhites. I have lived in Arabia, Africa, Asia, and the subcontinent. My parents adopted two blacks. Slavs are obviously white. They are in fact now the top tier of whiteness, as they are the only ones with functional civilizations that have rejected foreign invasion. Germans and Swedes are going to be virtually universally brown and Moslem in a generation. Most Italians are white. General rule on Southern Europeans: does it look brown? Many Southern Europeans are obviously not white. You can just look at them and tell by skin tone generally that they have too much Saracen blood in them.

If your skin is white, you are white.
