The amount of times I've witnessed people trauma dumping on Mcdonalds or Walmart employees. Saying they just got out of rehab when given their ice coffee, or some obese woman trying to haggle a couple dollars off of pillows cause she has scoliosis or fibromyalgia. The type of people that make their problem someone else's problem.

Tax: When people think that being angry at a service worker will make them work better/be more helpful. It works the exact opposite way. If you're nice to people, they tend to help. If you're just a vile prick, they want you to leave as soon as possible. Yet the same people who do this would be so utterly offeded if someone else did that to them.

I swear to God, treating service workers like shit is just asking for food poisoning or a bad experience, people cannot control themselves or even wait 15 mins.

People (almost always black people) who are constantly talking on the phone, seemingly for hours at a time. Who are you talking to? What is so complicated that this conversation has to go on for hours?

It's aggorgant by itself, but it becomes enraging when they come into your work and try to place an order while still taking to the other person. Then they act like you're an asshole when you ask then any questions or need their input.

I work with customer service; you are preaching to the choir. Here's my favorite: when they call for support WHILE DRIVING. People think that because they're on the phone, they can multitask without realizing that people can hear their surroundings. If you're a person that trauma dumps to everybody around you, you're insecure.

Not necessarily, I live in the absolute country, and almost any Friday or Saturday I can see fireworks going off at night. Granted, I live on a mountain overlooking a valley with hundreds of miles of visibility (on a clear night). And for the most part I can just see them, not hear them. I think a lot of it is churches celebrating something or just rednecks who got a deal on a package from a Mexican tent sale.

It's too bad that mankind can't just get along and is divided by artificial creations such as nations, tribes, religions, and cultures. The real divide is genetic however. I don’t get why you’re now seen as the odd one if you want to keep your work life separate from your private life, and especially not talk about controversial subjects while on the clock. That was something my dad drilled into me as a teenager “the quickest way to make people at work hate you is to discuss politics and religion.
