I don't get it - Embrace your inner The Last Stand

I don't understand why the credit system only allows you to increase credit by a few things to increase it with. You can only increase your credit score by paying your car loan, your personal loan and credit card. And your credit takes huge hits when you do things like take out a loan or get into a new vehicle deal to lease or finance. And it takes years to build that shit back.

Wouldn't it be more incentive to include more things to help increase credit? Why not just simply paying all bills? It shows you're responsible enough to, why not.

I don't get why poison oak has to itch this bad. I don't want to eat your oily fucking leaves or your shitty little seeds. I know you absolutely do this shit on purpose, hiding in other plants, sending one little arm out to tag me when I walk by. Like, if you don't like animals disturbing you, why the fuck do you stick crappy branches out into the path like an asshole?

Fucking asshole.

Then they cannot get you into the hole.

Speaking of which, why are hospital/ER visits so expensive? Don't even give me that crap about "having insurance." No way that would go to the hospital's welfare or the labor of the doctors/dentists. It'd probably be cheaper to call an Uber to the hospital than to take an ambulance.

Also, I hear that some protected classes get their visits completely covered. HOW?

I actually wondered why there are mirrors on the side of the car. After driving, I get it now.

This is DSP's infamous "crouch jump" segment from Half Life 1. I'm guessing to "crouch jump," you'd have to crouch, then jump or have a running start before the jump? I'm used to games giving you prompts TO vault over objects.

How are you expected to memorize button combos and directions for fighting games?
Late, but it boils down to practicing until you get it right, then keep practicing until you can't get it wrong. It's why training and practice modes exist. Yes, this does require some time commitment, which is why you don't see many functioning adults in the FGC.

Tax: I don't get being demonized for running an adblocker. I expect it from corporations, but when normal people do it I have to bite my lip to keep from asking what's wrong with them. Do they want their time stolen from them?

They answered you with practice which is true, but it consequently furthers your muscle memory on that action.

Have you done something physical repeatedly, where it used to be difficult at first, but through repetition you can now do without even thinking?

It does not have to be something physically exerting, it just involves coordination of muscles in a way that's efficient and flows naturally, from riding a bike, to doing moves in basketball, to doing simple tasks or motions like flipping/spinning a pen in your hand.

I can't speak for all cases, but some do because of morality issues according to their standards, like sometimes with piracy.

Imagine you're watching a small streamer and you put ad-blocker on, some would take this as selfish because you're consuming their product for free, but don't bother to at least let them earn ad-revenue through your views, so it ultimately hurts this content creator & their ability to continue making stuff (because this supposedly takes time, effort, and even resources, depending on what it is).

The line of thinking may extend to not-so-small streamers or big productions, because even though your lack of contributions may be negligent, if everyone starts doing it, then the result will be the same as with the small streamer. It also introduces the problem that if you were to "morally allow this", you'd have to set an arbitrary boundary (i.e: how big do they have to be for me to be justified to deny them of my views/ad-revenue they get from me?), and what would be the justification for you to be able to do this and not the others (so if it's just you, there's no problem), but if you can then so can others, and when that happens, the creator (even if big) will incur in losses (specially when the product mainly relies on ad-revenue and not sales/purchases, like with a YouTube video).

That's one reason I can think of, this alongside piracy however is a grey area, there's no intuitively """correct""" answer.

Crumbl cookie.
It was mostly popularized by food "reviewers" (using this term lightly) on social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Naturally the grand majority of people that are interested in Crumbl are zoomers who spend all their time doomscrolling on said platforms. As for the grandmas you just mentioned, I'm not too sure why they'd be interested in something like Crumbl, but it's probably because of their grandkids telling them about it.

The chain itself is extremely overhyped/rated. Exorbitant prices, there are a lot of cases where the food comes out undercooked (which is something you DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT with shit like cookies, salmonella is still a real concern with US eggs), the amount of calories per cookie is actually fucking ridiculous etc. etc.

Some of the incomprehensible memes I've seen posted by trannies. My only working theory is that they just see the word "boobs" and repost it because it gives them "gender euphoria" (read: a boner), but there are plenty of less schizophrenic "big boob anime girl xd funny" memes that are equally unfunny that they could go for instead.

We have lots of old ladies where I live, so I'm sure it's their grandchildren. But everyone has really fucking lost their mind. I'm looking at some of these prices, and have no idea how it's worth it besides a trend. Won't be surprised if some of them shut down in a few years.

Late but-
Speaking of which, why are hospital/ER visits so expensive? Don't even give me that crap about "having insurance." No way that would go to the hospital's welfare or the labor of the doctors/dentists. It'd probably be cheaper to call an Uber to the hospital than to take an ambulance.
If you can find ancap videos, they go into this in detail.

Don't quote me on this. The medical system in the west was a series of local lodges that you would pay into and they would handle the nitty gritty of hospitals, hiring doctors, etc. Doctors used to compete for these lodge contracts. At some point the losers of these contracts would complain that doctors aren't being payed enough and this contest to be the lowest bidder was destroying the profession. So they get the government to put their thumb on the scale in their favour. This lead to a spiral of regulations we see today.

Though in my opinion, it's because medicine has come a long way from "put a bandage on it and take some morphine".

I'd be interested in seeing how first world countries without nationalized healthcare, or the extreme prices of US care, handle things. Those countries are few and far between.

Who rents furniture or technology? I can understand paying off a cell phone from your carrier, but why go to a Rent-A-Center to rent a couch, rent an iPad or rent a TV? Shit, you may as well save up to buy it instead of establishing credit ON an item. Hell, at least use a credit card so you don't risk a repossession, just pay off the balance.

Smart Home shit. Most of it seems just unnecessary, spending all this money and setup time to do something that was barely an inconvenience in the first place. Oh I can speak to a thing to turn my lights on or off? I can also just take 3 steps and flip the switch myself. It can open my curtains for me? So can a little thing called my hands. I just don't get how any of these things are an inconvenience that need to be automated.
Heh heh heh... I mentioned on this site about the reasons why My house is a "dumb" home.
Did you know that the good old landline is still pretty safe to transport information. We now live in a world of convience. This is not my world.

And so far I've been happy about it.

Here is some information on what pretty much validates what I have commented many of times in here.

Heh I still own a 41 year old Maytag Washer/Dryer setup that still works. Modern appliances are generally replaced every 5 to 8 years.

You got convience, I got one less problem to deal with.
