Why does Spongebob live in a pineapple under the sea?

I was literally at my friend's toy shop during the height of the Labubu fad, and I saw a young couple walk in (with or without a kid, I don't recall), but I remember seeing the woman, mid 20s to 30s, basically pull out one of my friend's Labubu loot boxes for sale (keep in mind you don't even know which one you're paying for) for 80 bucks, all but begging her partner, "Oh please."
"Why do you want that?"
"I don't know... but I sure want to put it on my purse, I think."

Of course my friend didn't say anything; he wanted the sale, but it was all I could do to bite my tongue, "Good lord, if people were tonguing their own dogs' buttholes and it was the newest fad, this girl would be doing it too, and probably even defending it like YMS would."

Like, I mostly got WHY, but was incredulous that so many people are willing to drop 80+ dollars on a fad that will give them minutes of a dopamine hit just so they can be just like everybody else for a couple days, before they move onto the next thing and forget about the last one.
I'm convinced at least half the population doesn't have sentience whatsoever, to even be able to understand their own actions. They simply exist minute by minute like any other animal.

It was the most thought-provoking experience I've had at a toy store.

People who shuffle and start to push forward behind you in a que (line), as if them being physically impatient would automatically make everyone in front of them start to budge.

Why do airports serve alcohol during the flights and inside the terminals?

People, who are designated drivers, drinking zero percent alcohol. Just have a coke instead.

The way people use their garage as a dump. You have this safe, locked room away from weather and accidents, what are you going to put in there? The second most valuable thing you own, after your house, that has a very real resale value, is expensive to fix if damage occurs to it, and devalues when exposed to weather? Or 17 boxes of crap that you don't fucking care about. That definitely needs to be locked up and kept safe. God forbid those 12 extra roof tiles and that broken chair get wet in the rain.

Was about to mention the sentience thing, which I agree with.

But this is probably low intelligence + unchecked impulses, such as people who overspend in gacha gaming, or gamble. For this case I bet she has been spoiled her whole life, and she probably thinks that it's "cute" behaving like that, on top of it.
Why do cops clamp their hands on their chests while wearing uniforms?
Are you talking about left or right?

(Right)
Resting position (to rest their hands):
(Left)
Self defense (to be ready for potential confrontation):

Why are men who prefer their own company, stereotypically labelled as creepy or depressive?

Humans are social, tribal animals. If you're straying from the "herd", you must be "defective". Considering I'm of a very similar opinion to this:

I don't particularly care about being "defective". I'm not wasting my time caring about the opinions of "people" that don't even have a sense of self.

I can buy a loaf of bread, it won't show ANY sign of decay for weeks. I buy a couple rolls, they go bad before the week is done.
American bread lasts weeks? Bread should go off after a day off it’s fresh. But what the heck is in your bread to make it last weeks? Even our supermarket processed stuff lasts a week max. I dread to think what’s in the American stuff.
