Classic narc. If something good happens it’s because of her, but if it’s something bad it happened to her.

I am fairly certain that this has to do with a new diabetic diagnosis. She said she has been going through some stuff, I think it is confirmation of what her “haydurs” have been saying for years. Which means that her doctor and Becky declaring that she is “healthy, just Big” has been determined a laaah. Why would her doc want to have fasting blood work done if she is healthy as an ox?
After her "I DON'T HAVE DIABETES LEARN HOW THE OBESE BODY WORKS! REEEEEE!" freakout on YouNow with Becky preaching to us about how not triggered she and Amber are, how long will it take her to admit this A1C resulted in a diabetes diagnosis? How many trips to Cheesecake Factory can she afford before "The TRUTH about my health! (NOT CLICKBAIT)" shows up as a thread here.

She may be developing CHARCOT foot, which can result from neuropathy, which can stem from diabetes. CHARCOT Foot can lead to amputation as well.

She hasn't been to the doctor yet, how could she have a diabetes diagnosis at this point?

Fasting bloodwork isn't unusual if you're doing a lipid panel.

Amber has said she's "been going through some theeengs" a million times before. I don't recall a time when that has ever turned out to mean anything besides "I gained weight and don't want to talk about it"

Honestly I won't be shocked if she doesn't have diabetes yet. She is pretty young still.
Young has nothing to do with it. Didn't she say she has family with it? You can be born with it and in her case, it's not like she ever went to a doctor to have a thing checked.

The point is she hasn't been tested for it yet. I was responding to someone who was saying she must be hiding a confirmed diagnosis.

I don't know about that. I'm inclined to agree, but she needs her crazy pills and she's got to be out of refills at this point. The most she would ever get at a GP starting a new med would be 3 months and we add to that the fact that she switched meds. Her GP is NOT going to give her a refill without a follow up. That could have been the carrot on the stick to get her to come back so they could do a more comprehensive panel. I'm on the fence. I think it's possible that she did go and that is why we've seen so little of her in both Eric's and her own vlogs here lately.

At the same time, she's lazy and a fucking liar so who knows. Either way, there is no way she is not at least pre-diabetic. Absolutely no way. Her ego is so fragile that she waits months to admit shit we already know like hitting 500 elbees and the Dusty breakup.

She propably told the doctor that she has serious official internet diagnosis BED, all eating disorder patients are sent to a nutritionist.

She might not be diagnosed officially with diabetes, but she may have been diagnosed with insulin resistance and/or prediabetes in the past. If she has that, she can still get diabetes symptoms and it could progress if not regulated with diet or medication. More likely than not, a doctor would want to see if the condition has progressed, hence the fasting panels.

She’s young, but there are kids these days being diagnosed with Type 2. Her ultra-high caloric and carb intake can’t be helping. Natural insulin can only do so much.

If there is glucose in her urine, that's a really non invasive way for her to have been diagnosed as diabetic. She huffs carbs so it's plausible. No fasting required.

I have seen GPs very insistent that a patient has diabetes before testing is performed, in cases much less extreme than ALs. They are usually right.

Disgusting but true thing with Diabetics;

Their urine is sticky from the sugar excess being pissed out. Like it'll dry..tacky. Every time I see her drink liquid now it's like desperate thirst need it bad gulping. She only drinks soda apparently though, so it's not all that effective at hydrating.

Also apparently, rampantly unretreated diabetes can lead to a delusional state etc. Soo..crazy person who literally refuses to even get tested for a life threatening condition which can make them crazier. Take it as you will.

Lexapro isn't that serious. Many primary care providers wouldn't have an issue filling that for her. For instance, many psychiatric programs have a wait list that is several months long, and a doctor would fill an antidepressant until tlhe patient finds a provider.

Since she's not going through insurance she could go find anybody and start treatment with them right away, but that would cost her a lot more than a sliding-scale type program (which the doctor likely referred her to).
I do recall Amber saying no psychiatrist would call her back... lol (:

A doctor is not going to test for diabetes before doing even a basic workup. Insurance would never approve that so it's not standard practice even if the patient is uninsured. Things have to go sequentially, medicine can be very :autism: in that way.

And thus far Amber has avoided the needle like it's a lethal injection rather than a simple draw. I'm not trying to be argumentative. I just don't see how she could have a diagnosis yet.

P.S.S.S It feels odd to even try to discuss this given that her videos are weeks behind lol (:

  • Agree
Reactions: Tiny Clanger

Her feet already look like the diagram and this was from 2016
Good God. Look how trim and svelte Twinkie was in that video. Poor little thing must have put on at least 5 pounds since then.

Edit: added screencap

That isn't true at all. Especially at Hamber's weight, if she came in with the same complaints she puts on the youtubes etc a Doctor would definitely run the test. Since they are already going to be drawing blood. I mean look at her, she has everlasting wounds, apparently has mentioned sores, etc. Hell if she had broken a bone and required surgery? They wouldn't perform it for potentionally several days. It's pretty much a no go for surgery unless life threatening until your blood sugar levels is below 200 to consider surgery. The risk of complications is much higher when you have diabetic sugar levels on a basic 24/7 basis.

Legitimately I wonder if the big life altering news is she found out she's diabetic, but she'll probably think if she eats 'healthy' sugar it's alright. I can see her dumb enough to think pouring honey down her throat by the bottle over eating 2 pounds of chocolate is pro diabetic life style even now.

She thinks she and Becky are interchangeable, and we won’t care if Becky starts doing vids. I will. I want to watch her make excuses and be stupid, not watch another redneck. It’s disrespectful to Becky and her audience but she’d too lazy to care.

She clearly has lymphedema. She’s mentioned it and we can see it. Lymphedema can leak. She has edema in her feet and they may be wet at night. She has neuropathy and have lost feeling. She also has gained more weight and a new lipoma may swing in a way she’s not used to, knocking her off-balance. Combine all that with a filthy floor and getting up in the dark to get her Ben and Jerry’s, and boom goes the dynamite.

It’s amazing she can still wiggle and roll and maneuver her body to a place she can grab and get up. Next time she takes a sharp step off a curb she can’t feel, her rolling around in the street won’t do any good. All I want is video, please god-bear.

Gonna stand for oldies here-my Uncle is 75 and does a job where is is outside walking all day. Dude is in better shape than me and most younger than me. If he fell, he’d brush himself off and go about his day. I bet there are more oldsters than not like that.

Yet a 27 year old actually has to worry about this, and because of her her stupidity, it’s not a wake up call. Man, I can’t imagine rolling around on the floor like a turtle on its back but it’s her norm. Horrifying. Can’t want until they do call an ambulance and she has to pay.

You flatter my :autism::heart-full:.

another shot of those feet from the Fat Girl Walking Down the Stairs video.

Our girl should consider getting into the foot fetish business. I'm sure they'd pay big for a few shots of those hooves. And watching her squish things like tomatoes, lasagna, ice cream, etc. Would be fascinating. For science of course.
