I finally have answers | diagnosed - 7/5/19

Damn bitch 4 diagnoses on the first visit? Lmao she really does have to overdo EVERYTHING. Lies, food, shopping EVERYTHING. You'd think she'd do some damn research before telling the whole internet that. But ofc she wouldn't...
E: it could have been so easy for her to fake a single diagnosis for a while too, if only she had some brains

Amber doesn't have health insurance - I don't think anyone in that household does. If she did actually get these diagnoses, it's just another example of how fucking inept everyone is in the good ol' state of Kentucky.

And just a word of advice: no one on kiwi farms wants to hear about your experiences with the mental health "industry" so don't be surprised if you get dogpiled next time you bring that up.
I now realize how that sounded. (Like a tumblerina begging for attention) I say it more to give crecredibilty than anything else.

Also, I guess I'm not as up on the lore as I should be. Then my question would be how did she even get an appointment? And even if she did what fucking doctor would confuse being fat and lazy with anything serious.

I don't really buy into the theory that she didn't go. I only say that because Becks seems like a relatively honest person.

Nah, the Thumb lies....a lot. Most notably about why she quit her job. She has also bragged about what a good "actor" she is, meaning she has lied about lots of things, lots of times.

Also, about Big Al's memory loss from trauma--she's been talking lately about doing a q&a about her foster care experience, no mention of gaps in her memory or anything like that and she has NEVER mentioned memory gaps before...seems an excellent excuse for not answering certain questions in her q&a.

Oh yea, that memory gap stuff is pure horseshit. She didn't want to answer a question so it's all I forgot or I can't remember. She's so full of shit the toilet's jealous.

It's common for traumatized people to have memory problems, both in their day-to-day functioning, and related to their traumatic memories (distorted memories, intensified memories, etc.).

Giving her the beneift of the doubt, that's probably what she's referring to and not legit psychogenic amnesia. Although it's still weird of her to put it out there like it's a disorder unto itself rather than a complication of PTSD. She's probably just being dramatic.

Her diagnosis was the entire DSM, as determined by the one hour long visit to the shrink in a strip mall anchored by a Ruby Tuesday. Our gorl is cured and living for it y'all. She's got her mood stabilizers and she's ready to focus on weight loss. I can't wait for the follow up video recorded last month when she posts it as our New Years 2020 gift.

There are aspects of OCPD that make sense as it pertains to her, but others, absolutely not. I'm sure it's a spectrum just like all other diagnoses, but this bitch does not hoard money.
People with OCPD will have full-blown breakdowns because they simply can't compute outside of their view of what is right and acceptable. Amberlynn isn't like this. She acknowledges other ways and she at least acts like she can delude herself into following these methods outside her own. She's just a narcissistic cunt.

A person really only needs to meet four criteria to be given the diagnosis, not all of them. Personally, I feel she meets:
1. Is preoccupied with details, rules, lists, order, organization, or schedules to the extent that the major point of the activity is lost.

She constantly writes lists and notoriously plans out everything she's going to do, even if she doesn't do them.

2. Shows perfectionism that interferes with task completion.

With weight loss, either she does well or she doesn't do it at all. One screw up derails her entire day. If she forgets to weigh herself in the morning, she doesn't for the rest of the day. If she eats one unhealthy thing, she will eat whatever. If she messes up a project/challenge, she gives up entirely. There's no rebound.

4. Is over-conscientious, scrupulous, and inflexible about matters of morality, ethics, or values.

But other youtubers do it! She is never flexible in her reasoning. Everything is black and white with her.

5. Is unable to discard worn-out or worthless objects even when they have no sentimental value.

The hoard of random walmart crap.

6. Is reluctant to delegate tasks or to work with others unless they submit to exactly their way of doing things.

This was shown during the infamous Cocoa Puffs freakout. She and Becky were supposed to eat healthy that day together. Becky screwed up, so Amber gave up too. Also evidenced by Becky saying, "We always do what you want to do and go where you want to go." Also evidenced by her manipulating people's advice (O2B, EDDF...) to just be rehashing of what she's believed/been doing all along. She doesn't listen to others, she only listens for what she wants to hear. It's either done her way or no way. Also, again, influenced by her never revisiting the same doctors/therapists after they tell her something alternative to what she believes.

8. Shows rigidity and stubbornness.

Evident by everything.
There's also a lot of talk about her being a narcissist, and I think it's worth noting that the clinical idea of narcissism isn't the same as the general public idea. Usually, we think that a narcissist is someone who's overly in love with themselves like Narcissus with his reflection. Clinically, to be diagnosed with NPD, those traits come from a deep sense of insecurity, not self-admiration.

*Just read the part about her not having insurance. I wonder if she qualified for a state program. It would be easier to get away with, with the type of work that she does. Sometimes states have prescription drug programs and 'out of pocket' discounts for people w/o insurance. It doesn't work for dental, but actually with medical, you can get reduced rates because having insurance amounts to more paperwork and hoop jumping. Not many people will look a gift horse in the mouth. If this isn't the case, it's bizarre, without the pressure of insurance, that someone would be diagnosed with 4 different things in such a short visit. Like I said, intros (of both dr. and patient), background, talk of symptoms..that time would past so quickly. Hearing Becky was also immediately diagnosed, what are the odd that they're just both such clear cases, that they got their real diagnoses on the very first day?

Wouldn't they need to weigh her and get her true weight, in order to administer the right dosage?

I can't remember which video it was in, but in a video in the last couple of months, Amber accompanied Becky to one of her appointments, and I think someone figured out where the shrink's office is based on that. So if she went, it was to the same place.

EDIT: Found it. It was from her June 17th video.

The real reason Amberlynn was swollen, didn't weigh in and was depressed the next day....

Mindsight Behavioral Health, two doors down. Becky was probably meeting with her case manager and/or therapist.

But, wait... what is that shining beacon of hope over yonder?

My god, it's a thing of beauty. Now, what's the nature of this Mindsight situation?

What is a Mental Health Assessment?

A mental health assessment gives your clinician or requesting source, a picture of your emotional state. It also looks at how well you are able to think, reason, and remember (cognitive functioning). Your clinician will ask you questions about both your past and present. You might answer some of the clinician's questions in writing. Your clinician will take note of how you look as well as your mood, behavior, thinking, reasoning, and memory, and how well you can express yourself.

Your clinician will also ask questions about how you get along with other people. This includes your family and friends. They will ask about any current symptoms or behaviors you might be experiencing. These questions and observations are compiled into a formal assessment and report that either stays in your medical record or is sent to the referral source that requested it.

And look at that, not an actual MD among them.

Personally, I'd look askance at a practice that uses tools like Past Life Regression and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (which apparently treats trauma by giving the patient a Field Sobriety Test for several sessions by asking them to follow a finger with their eyes?). But that would be right in Amberlynn's wheelhouse.

You know what, I believe that she got diagnosed on Bipolar. Given her history and that she has family who has it, I can see the psychiatrist using these and ticking off boxes. The dr gave her prescription and said, come back in three weeks. This is standard when trialling most mood-stabilizers; it takes a few weeks to get a baseline and assess if it works for the patient or not. Then again, I wouldn't trust ALR to regularly take it and also go to that follow-up appointment.

But the OCPD and memory loss? Total bs. Bet the dr just said, "huh, that sounds like you could have..." and in ALR's victim brain she heard, "you poor suffering child, you definitely have this!" Also I laughed at ALR thinking she has a separate diagnosis of depression, not realising that it's congruent with her Bipolar diagnosis.

Our gorl's full of shit or she saw someone that needs to lose their license, you don't get that laundry list of shit from one session. I'm getting ready for all the "as a mentally ill person diagnosed with- " speeches. It sounds like she just googled symptoms that would cover her shitty behavior and tacked them on to the list.
Don't psychiatrist usually spend the first session just getting to know you and going over what it is you want to achieve/overcome?

Of the four things she was "diagnosed" with the only real disorder there is bipolar, and that has nothing to do with being a whale.
tl;dr nothingburger
Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder is a real thing too. I just don't think she has it. OCD, probably. That would explain the hoarding as well. But OCPD not so much.

I want to know what they prescribed her. If she got "diagnosed" bipolar on her first visit then the psychiatrist is going to probably hand feed her Quetiapine like its fuckin candy. She looked like ass(more than usual) in her snapchat rant. If she is on Quetiapine and has been for 6 weeks that means she has been sleeping most of the day and eating the rest. Quetiapine is notorious for making people gain weight because it makes you crave carbs and straight sugar like crazy.

I hope they put her on lithium

If highly doubt the psychiatrist prescribed lithium to our girl, especially considering ALR hasn't been on any type of mood stabilizers in the past. I also don't think any professional, if they're being practical would prescribe a 600lb person Lithium when the most common side effect is weight gain.

I've met many people who have been on Lithium. Every one of them has gained at least 20lbs+ quick after starting that med. From what I understand, weight gain is unavoidable while taking lithium due to water retention and heightened appetite.
Also lezbereal, I doubt our girl would be willing to follow through taking the periodic blood test necessary while on Lithium.

Hamber was most likely was put on an antipsychotic HCL like Latuda or Abilify, or an anticonvulsant like Lamictal or Seroquel. My understanding is those are usually trialed prior to considering lithium.

EDIT: Also my theory is ALR doesn't have bipolar, but I'm sure the psychiatrist figured a mood stabilizer was worth a shot if she's going off of whatever narrative Hamber spewed out during the session. The possibility was probably mentioned and Amber just ran with it. I'm for the theory our gorl potentionally has Boarderline Personality Disorder, but eh, the fuck do I know. It's pretty apparent there's something severely fucked within ALR's cognition.

I believe she went. There are truly terrible doctors everywhere, but I kind doubt any clinician living in Bumfuck Kentucky graduated at the top of their class at Johns Hopkins. It’s more likely she saw a low tier graduate of Costa Rica Discount Medical School.

Additionally, if Becky goes there, and maybe one of the fags, this could be the place that gave them diagnoses that got them on disability, so they aren’t legit, licenses or not. They are diagnosis mills.

Amber lies. She knew what she wanted to be diagnosed with, and steered the conversation that way. Oh so many questions! She’s been answering them on Ask.fm for a decade. The clinician she saw probably didn’t understand she was dealing with a very stupid, yet somehow masterful manipulator. And she went along with the diagnosis Amber steered her toward. As an aside, BPD was the diagnosis de jour for a lot of lesser doctors for many years-you just had to say you sometimes were happy and sometimes lost your temper, and bam! Lithium.

Nothing happened in Amber’s childhood that would cause a traumatic memory loss, which has been debunked anyway. She was ignored and went to foster care, she wasn’t chained in the closet for years.

Amber left with what she wanted-a mental excuse for being so disgustingly fat and eating too much. This allows her to say that she can’t help it, it’s not her fault, she has mental. The clinician got her $200.00 for 40 minutes of listening to this fat baby. Walmart got yet another $20.00 from Amber. Becky got her blackout shades. Successful transaction for all. The only ones who lost were the poor fish that Amber sucked down-what a thing to die for.

And it’s meaningless. Amber is a dying fat lump who could get every psychiatric diagnosis there is, real or not, and she’ll never change. It doesn’t even matter what she really has, if anything. She’s just shitty.

IMO, there is nothing wrong with her. She’s greedy. She’s lazy. She doesn’t want to face reality. And that’s that.
