I hate the Internet and the people who own it

Was there a known issue with the mirror where someone had replaced the site with a honeypot and if you accepted an invalid cert your computer is kill?

Just curious what shenanigans are going on.
I think it's more that any tranny could (in theory) claim to set up a mirror, then use it to harvest passwords from less aware Kiwis.

I imagine the longer we manage to stay on clearnet with sneed that they might start making 1 letter off clones of the main page to phish logins from people who accidentally typo the url.

It's late and you logged into a site with one extra e and bam Elliot and crew now have your login.

In that case you wouldn't get any SSL errors. Nothing stops them from getting a valid SSL cert for whatever mistyped domain name they register.

They are technically committing fraud at that point. Whether anything would come of it is an obvious question, but something potentially could.

They are technically committing fraud the moment they try to induce someone to type a KF username/password on their fake site under the mistaken belief that it's KF.

I'd argue that registering an SSL cert for a domain that they technically purchased and actually own (nevermind that it might infringe on someone's trademark) is the least fraudulent part of the process.

They don't give a fuck about the law. DDoS is a federal crime and I'm pretty sure it's illegal in every country, and Dong Gones track record is clear Tort Interference, they don't give a fuck because no one is willing to go after Ditch owners.

The DDoS is having less & less effect as null-routing lists are updated and Kiwiflare is refined, so they're going to get more desperate as they pay more & more for diminishing returns.

I don't think anything's happened yet, but don't forget "be gay do crimes". The law is not a concern because they think they're good people.

It's partly because it's damn hard to prove that someone paid for a DDoS attack assuming they don't just fuck up and admit it. It's all untraceable.

If you're not staff, your login should have no value. Use a unique email with a unique password, and don't say anything in private messages that you wouldn't want made public. If my account got hijacked, all I would have to do is just make a new one and no damage would be done otherwise. I doubt I'm ever going to stop using Tor anyways now that I'm used to it.

I mean you should have 2FA set up on your account anyway. If you’re in the Apple ecosystem (I know I’m a fag), then it’s trivial to get working.

The most obvious value to a hacker in obtaining a seasoned account would be for fedposting. It's much more obviously an op if an account registered on July 12, 2023 starts posting CP or terrorist threats.
Maybe, but I don't think older accounts are given any extra leeway when it comes to moderation. Either way, they don't need a senior account to add any credibility to their sabotage. The fedpost that cloudflare used as an excuse to drop us came from a fairly young account. There's no honest reporting on us so the age of the account is basically irrelevant.

That fucking thing was deleted within 15 minutes.
I saw it happen.
The fucking nigger that posted it was the same cunt that handed the screen shots of it over to Dong Gones team.
There's no way they just stumbled across it that quickly, it was only up for less than 15 minutes and everyone in the thread was calling him a faggot and telling him to go fuck himself.

Avast Antivirus has rescinded their blacklist of Sneed.Today.

Basically I just said that the website was a mirror of an E-drama forum and that we had been under scrutiny from "a marginalized group" after we outed some of their people's crimes of embezzlement, rape, etc. and the blacklist had been filed with malicious intent. Nothing special.

This is also why using a username and email address that you don't use anywhere else is also important - a rule that a number of newfags keep failing to follow in spite of Null telling you to do just that right on the fucking registration page.

This is broadly true, but any bit of good faith arguments we can hold onto might be useful someday. Jesse Singals and other types still exist, albeit incredibly rare.

Rape is illegal in almost every jurisdiction too, but Liz Fong-Jones (Elliot Fong, 方禮真) doesn't think law applies to him.

Again with that fucking "3 Suicides" shit. I fucking love how these cunts can just publish utter shit like that and then just repeat it among themselves each one quoting each other as their "source" but when challenged they just ignore the question, I've not seen one of these fuckers back that shit with evidence because it's bullshit.
What fucking 3?
Byuu, the guy who was never declared dead by the Embassy in Tokyo and whose only "evidence" is a fucking Urn from Wish.com?
Terryberry who was tortured by her boyfriend?
Chloe who said herself it was the troon community and the lack of mental health care?
They just repeat this 3 suicides bullshit like it's a fact and never show any evidence.
this is something that will always bother me. they go on and on about these 3 people as if we were all sitting there telling them to die daily. but in reality all 3 of them were mentally fucked. byuu even admitted it in his emails to josh. terryberry was dealing with her lunatic of a boyfriend and went on record as saying she would kill herself if he left.

then with chloe again like you said they directly blamed the troon community and lack of mental health care. all 3 of these people would have killed themselves with or without this site existing because the conditions that brought them to that point had nothing to do with us.

now if you look at places like youtube and twitter they both have fully documented instances of people killing themselves because of comments or general harassment. look at that etika dude for example dude was getting laughed at by people like keemstar on twitter till one day he jumps off a bridge.

hell twitter alone could be blamed for way more suicides than this place but do you see armys of troons trying to get twitter banned? do you see them trying their hardest to make sure the hate site known as twitter currently run by the evil elon musk loses its hosts and gets dropped by its ISPs? nope. because at the end of the day none of these people care about anyone but themselves and their own personal goals.
