I hate the Internet and the people who own it

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Free speech is worth defending. Even if it's speech I don't like.

The troon brigade really should read up on their German history, pre-WW2. Weimar had extensive anti-hate-speech laws. Hitler was actually banned from speaking in Hamburg.

It didn't make the Nazis go away. And those guys were a lot nastier than farmers, despite what Elliot and Lucas hallucinate.

I'm cautiously hopeful that the EFF won't wuss out at the vitriolic reaction they got.

The big advantage this time around is people are so obsessed with policing speech online that they don't police it offline at all. So slowly build up your network; it's larger than you think it is.

I work a desk job that is often really slow and boring. I started reading kf a while back to help pass time and I've really enjoyed browsing it. When it was gone, I tried looking at alternatives like cc, ovarit, and lcf, but there's not a place as diverse as kf. Anything I might be interested in reading about, it's easy to search for it and read from the beginning. And you guys are funny.

I love this site and if it goes away forever I'll be very sad. While I still can, I want to say thank you to all the Kiwis for keeping me entertained, and to Null for all your efforts.

The internet today is sadly a reflection of the modern west. Pozzed, drunk and missing a dick with balls. Convinced by a bunch of perverts with their rich friends to be as retarded as they are.

And it goes to show how much a corrupt system is doing whatever it can to screw up something they cannot fully control.

Thanks for everything, Josh. Know that plenty of people are cataloguing your efforts and no doubt inspired by it.

Likely the DDoS attack ended. They are just saturating the network because the DDoS mitigator is doing its job as well as it can, but the torrc proxy is a single-threaded process.

If we can't stay on clearnet I will just scale the torrc nodes horizontally and those attacks will become less and less effective. For now, I am working on clearnet.

At the very least Tor isn't completely inaccessible these days, just download the browser and that's it. Still it's ridiculous that apparently all censorship takes is a phone call to some mid-level executive from a fucker like Liz Fong.

I feel like on those places you mentioned, and indeed any other place to discuss eccentric people on the internet, there is a much greater skew towards moralization versus fun. Less laughing, more outrage, shock, pearl clutching, whatever you want to call it. What makes the farms unique is its humor, and, yes, the freedom and (ironically) diversity.

I just want to reiterate how much I appreciate this community and Josh specifically for their unwillingness to capitulate and back down in the face of these leftist fascists and their abhorrent behavior. You are literally doing God's work and even though when it's all said and done the history books may not reflect it, this is a battle worth taking on and no matter what happens I will never forget Josh's efforts in standing up for our rights.
