Good developments but let's not get complacent, keep your Tor browser updated and VPN prepared. Our lolcow forum is probably only a small taste what's going to happen with the lame and r-worded clearnet.
I already use Whonix (more autistic usage of Tor - two virtual machines, one is for browsing while the other one is routing all traffic through tor) and this week hastened my decision to finally try Qubes OS and install some rom on my phone.

The separation between the average person and computer weirdos continues to grow ever wider.
More than once recently I've had to explain to people what an "internet browser" is, meanwhile the computer autists have converted their entire house and all their devices into a functional neural network just so they can torrent movies or w/e.
I think they aren't so worried about people hating them so long as they're miserable while they do it.

I'd be interested to see some autist put together some data visualizations on when carriers/regions are going up. Even accepting there's no shenanigans, it could be useful to see how quickly different carriers are able to propagate the correction.
