I hate the Internet and the people who own it

I was posting fine as cherry wine at home and on my phone on clearnet, but went out of town yesterday to another state and lost phone access. With Telegram not viewable I wasn't sure what was going on, but as of a couple hours ago all is well again.

I do hope the open Telegram goes up again. I like to check it out when shit goes down. When I tried to sign up I saw all that shit about it needing to make and receive calls, access my contacts, and use personal info so I noped out. Probably being over cautious, but I like my opsec and would hate to not check a box and my phone number pops up on a list of Known Kiwifarms Telegram Users.

Telekom in Germany seems to drop KF now (it worked last friday), but I'm a retard who doesn't really understand traceroute/tracepath.

tracepath -b -p 80 kiwifarms.net
1?: [LOCALHOST] pmtu 1492
2: 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 0.832ms
3: 62.156.244.42 (62.156.244.42) 21.229ms <- Lokal Telekom node
4: no reply

When trying to reach terrahost themselves it peers through GTT, so I'm not sure if the problem is on GTTs or Telekoms side

tracepath -b terrahost.com
1?: [LOCALHOST] pmtu 1500
2: 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 0.828ms
3: 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 0.726ms pmtu 1492
3: 62.156.244.42 (62.156.244.42) 20.802ms
4: 62.156.247.74 (62.156.247.74) 21.328ms asymm 6
5: d-ed5-i.D.DE.NET.DTAG.DE (217.5.71.50) 21.882ms asymm 6

7: ae3.cr1-osl3.ip4.gtt.net (89.149.134.189) 55.918ms asymm 14
8: ip4.gtt.net (212.221.18.2) 51.578ms asymm 14

Too late to edit: Whatever @Null changed worked flawlessly, both Deutsche Telekom and Telefonica route to KF again.

Hello from the murder capital of the US, I can finally browse from the clearnet, does anyone know why the hellhole that is Telegram won't let me view the Kiwifarms as a guest?

which is a surprise, changing the DNS didn't work so it seems like the

Some ISPs (Sweden) have been starting to route KF directly through AMS-IX now. So I guess that Final Solution that Dear Leader was talking about is finally about to kick into drive? As an aside note, it's interesting that the trannies haven't noticed this.

Code:
$ traceroute kiwifarms.net
traceroute to kiwifarms.net (103.114.191.1), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
...
12 80.249.213.37 (80.249.213.37) 21.491 ms * *
13 * * *
14 * * *
15 * * *
...

I'm not an expert at networking, but it seems pretty robust from here:

1. Rent servers in Uzbekislavia
2. Lease dark fiber to AMS-IX
3. Dark fiber provider is not publicly exposed
4. Done (unless AMS-IX caves)
Arelion is down.

Edit: according to BGP tools it looks like GTT is routing us again! AS3257 is GTT

All I've seen them say is that they comply with Swiss law on hate speech. Who have they banned?
Off the top of my head I don't remember anymore, and that detail isn't in the immediate search results.

What I did find was them actively asking blue checkmarks to forward (probably false flag) emails to them, and a reddit thread thanking them for the bans and claiming that ProtonMail does these bans by cross-referencing Metadata with their logs. All the users are sure about in that case is that the ban was over a "kill yourself", but the official employee claims it was worse, but they assure you they don't actually know what happened. So, it might not be clear "who" it was, but

I know that there's at least one other incident beyond the aforementioned however; In the cases I originally heard of the way the ban occurred was someone stuck an @protonmail.com address in their bios on other websites like Twitter or Patreon, then ProtonMail decided that those profiles are sufficient to assume that it's those people using ProtonMail and if those people are involved there must also be hate speech involved. Without evidence that any was sent or received. Because hey, banning people for what happened on other platforms is cool now.

There's no reason to believe they actively monitor your activity to ban you, but they do use your metadata and identity against you. If you say... Used a ProtonMail address to register for KF.net but never actively used the inbox, you'd probably be safe. If your address was later found in a database leak, you'd probably get banned. If Null used a ProtonMail address as his legal contact address, he wouldn't have an inbox anymore.

Honestly not a big deal if you aren't a social media whore and you don't send emails, but I wouldn't recommend them for email given that email is usually how you do password recovery and such.

It can't be emphasized enough, GTT was the company that caused all of our problems last week. Jersh has un-cancelled us. This is unprecedented, or unpresidented as Trump would say, this is a major defeat for the dickless tyrant brigade and their never-ending quest to demand to speak to every manager on earth until it makes them a real woman. GTT is on Twitter, be sure to let them know how much you appreciate them standing up for a free, open internet! https://twitter.com/GTTCOMM
