Let's Sperg I was looking forward to playing Baldur's Gate 3 until I heard more than a few lines of dialogue

Also it's impossible to ignore how many youtube playthroughs are "women" romancing women companions when it's painfully obvious that the players are trannies. Hey trannies, here's a tip: True and Honest women don't like RPGs. Commit suicide
Eww! Sex with a foid is so gay.
The initially romancable men look like underwear models, and have fujoshi-bait stories whereas the females consist of an angry alien frog, a devil too hot to touch and an evil cultist.

The elf twink alone has 13,167 fanfics written about him on AO3, Six times all the F/F stuff combined.

I enjoyed the first Act, and the one woman I did see play it romanced the gay vampire (Aristoly or something), but there was an amazing event where because my brother and I [we played four person lan party co-op as Drizzts four siblings; Brizza (my Brother), Nilfeth (Myself), Dinen (Blue Toad Friend), and Maya (Yellow Toad Friend] fucked up ...
We had to wipe out the devil races refugee camp and the druids, the nigger looking demon companion remarked "did killing those people make you feel strong" and my brother responded with "yes, yes it did"

we laughed our asses off after that, it was like killing the followers of the apocalypse faggot Ganon in new vegas, fun as hell.

I heard the game falls apart when the second half kicks in, and said half has some questionable things.
There arent as many interesting choices/interactions in the third act but some of the biggest choices are there especially if you talk with your party members since a lot of their storylines conclude there.

The combat just keeps getting better though, bg3 has some really great boss fights, from the end of act 1 onward you're constantly running into them.

Personally it just looks fun and goofy. I kinda want to try it for that alone

You play RPGs vanilla? The first thing most people do is load mods, and aside from the odd UI mods, the most popular mods are always hair and head presets, and other character model improvements aimed at making characters look hotter, especially the women. And that's just the boring Nexus mod community.

Give modders enough time, and I'm sure they'll be fixing the dialogue too. With modern AI v2t modders can do just about anything they want with dialogue. I haven't kept up with my Skyrim mods lately (hard enough to run 800+ mods already) but I'm pretty sure they've had a few entirely new AI-driven companions that can speak and sound like actual voice actors. That'll be the standard with all RPGs sooner or later.

Honestly BG3 was way better writing than expected. Like it's still too modern and wholesome, but at least it's not as pozzed or horny as I feared. Granted I didn't start reading every book or question every character (which is still preferable to modern games just jamming inclusivity characters up your throat).

For sure. The wokest thing is the lack of bigotry. In BG1 a drow narrowly escaped a lynching and everyone hated your party if you travelled with her. In BG3 they are local celebrities.

The Act2 villain didn't disapprove of his daughter shacking up with a woman because of homophobia but because she was an immortal demigod and child of the god his daughter was a priestess of and thus an unhealthy power difference.
more in store than just dialogue
