The premise of this video is complete gibberish. The people who treated Trump like a big joke
weren't the alt-right. They were either liberals
(there's a clip of John Oliver begging Trump to run for the presidency), or mainstream Republicans who reluctantly voted for him solely because he wasn't Hillary. The people who earnestly supported Trump during the election, the Pepe and Q crowd, are the same people who support him now.
That's the fundamental problem with all these videos. Despite it being called "the alt-right playbook" he very rarely talks about the alt-right directly. Instead he mashes everyone he doesn't like into a homogeneous glob and then claims to know how they all think. This then leads to him repeatedly going "Look at how these people simultaneously hold contradictory viewpoints? See! This proves they're all disingenuous and there's no point arguing with them!", losing sight of the fact he's talking about different people who are saying different things. As disappointing as it might seem, your political opponents are not, in fact, the fucking Borg.
