If God appeared to you and told you something in the Bible was wrong, how would you react?

Assuming I'm allowed a follow up question I would just ask him why he's telling me this. If God appears and tells me some dark and terrible truth about the Bible, then just dips there really isn't anything I can do other than stir on it in my own mind and then probably go back to living my life as it was. It's not like anyone would believe me, nor do I have the outreach to make any meaningful change if they did. So that would be my biggest burning question is what do you expect me to do with this knowledge? Of all the people you could've told this to, why me? If he's just doing it for shits in giggles, then great. I don't have to worry about any wider implications. If there is some greater purpose, I would know of it so I can take action.

Depends on if it is really relevant or something like "the name of the first woman is really Steve, the st is silent, but she liked to spell it that way."

I've never had a moment of divine revelation before. Probably either absolute acceptance, or complete epistemic breakdown and descent into radical skepticism.

I've always wanted to give God a big hug and wouldn't miss the opportunity.
I feel like I've been poisoned by Buddhism or maybe it added a perspective, but I'd be worried it was the Devil or worse my idea of God rather than God. I'd probably ask him who was the funniest prophet.

"So you're telling me that I should plow my field with a unicorn?"

"Thanks G, I knew that only trusting in your word and not in the words of man was the correct path to follow."

I'd go to confession, take communion, dissect the scripture mentioned, read the fathers, and then invoke the holy spirit for an answer. The devil can appear in any vision, so proof should be looked for that it's actually god talking, and not my own brain being retarded nor some demon trying to make me a retard.
