If homos can’t reproduce, how come their quantity is increasing?

I believe that on some level people are like roombas. We seek to find and map the boundaries around us, the limits. So we'll go farther and farther until we feel pushback, and then we know where the limit is. Parents have a responsibility to communicate and impose those limits, otherwise your kid ends up a fucking freak. But as members of society, we all also have a responsibility to impose those limits, lest our society become full of freaks.

There used to be social incentives to be straight, to the extent that a lot of people pretended to be straight when they were homos.

Today there are social incentives to be queer or special, so a lot of people pretend to be that when they're straight.

Serious answer: more people feel comfortable enough to come out, and there's a social incentive in some cases to coming out, so some people will pretend to be gay for social points. That's all there is.
