Depends on what you consider racist. I don't hate anyone based on their race, though it is one thing I will make a character judgement on. Race does seem to have a relation to intelligence, impulse control, work ethic, and honesty, so I will be on alert for different things and deal with people or not based on that. Around blacks, never relax. Don't buy expensive items directly from Chinese sellers on sites like eBay or AliExpress. Indians make great programmers for junior level grunt work, but fuck things up at any level higher than that. Injuns smell like Listerine. If I think you're an overall good person, we can be friends regardless of your race. You might not ever get as close as my white and especially Slavic friends, but we can be friends.

I'm a xenophobe. I don't like other cultures; I only want to live in a white european culture, because that's the culture I deem to be superior and I believe that's my perogative - to judge cultures and gravitate to the one I choose. But apparently that's controversial if you're white.
I have no problem with other races coming to my country but they have to assimilate otherwise their existence is a threat to my culture. It won't survive if it's endlessly diluted with multiculturalism. (And I think it's a problem that I can't express this take in public).

I judge people by the content of their character but I have to admit I haven't liked the character of the sub saharan Africans and Pakistanis I've come to know.

Philosophical question: Is it racist if I somehow met every brown person on earth and genuinely disliked each of them as individuals? I'd effectively be disliking a race, but the sub-set of brown people would just happen to be encompassed within the wider set of people I dislike.

I have zero problems with anyone who wants to go through the process and come to this country legally, and is willing to work and contribute to society. I used to work with a Nigerian guy who would say shit about American blacks that would make a Klansman blush. One of the nicest, hardest working guys I ever knew.

But if you're going to jump the border and try to leech off the system, that's where I draw the line. I moved to another country more than once and did it the proper way. I don't think it's asking too much for anyone who wants to emigrate to do the same.

It would not be because you would not be pre-judging anyone based on their race. You've met them before forming your opinion. Racism isn't an opinion on generalities, it's an applied thing - absent an individual you're discriminating against it's just a tree falling in a forest when no-one's around.

Most people here would be labeled as racist by people outside the forum and outside the internet, by maga boomers and leftist alike.
What line do I have to cross to be racist? What if I simply believe that not all races are equal? Suppose I say blacks commit most of the violent crimes and their nations are poor and impoverished? in that case being racist is simply a statement of fact because those things are measurable.
What if I simply don't associate with other races? like if I don't hang out with or do business with them? If that's racism than it becomes an opinion because it is not directly measurable seeing as how most people associate with their own kind through happenstance like family and measuring the race of a person's associates is only evidence and not proof.
At the least it has to be an irrationality, Like if I believed that all blacks are criminals, even though not every black is charged with a crime and found guilty. If that's not racist than racism as a concept would not exist.
If the line is simply being irrational than I'd like to think I'm not racist. Is it irrational to think that criminals should stand trial and be punished accordingly even if most of those criminals are a certain minority? What about ending welfare dependence for people that are healthy enough to work a job, even though that would affect minorities the most?
If not wanting to associate with other races is racist than I guess I don't belong here but I don't think it's wrong for people to have the freedom to associate with friends of their choice.
