I have zero problems with anyone who wants to go through the process and come to this country legally, and is willing to work and contribute to society. I used to work with a Nigerian guy who would say shit about American blacks that would make a Klansman blush. It would not be because you would not be pre-judging anyone based on their race. You've met them before forming your opinion. Racism isn't an opinion on generalities, it's an applied thing - absent an individual you're discriminating against it's just a tree falling in a forest when no-one's around.Philosophical question: Is it racist if I somehow met every brown person on earth and genuinely disliked each of them as individuals? I'd effectively be disliking a race, but the sub-set of brown people would just happen to be encompassed within the wider set of people I dislike.
