The most profitable cults seem to be either mystic Indian bullshit or science fiction, so my cult would be a blend of Vedic wisdom but also weird Phillip K. Dick space satellite shit. Basically it'd be like Heaven's Gate but with less castration and more "give me your earthly possessions so that I may bear your sins in the space afterlife"
