IGN's top 100 games of the last generation

Are these reviews done by the same person? I ask because I feel it might be done by the same critic.
Actually no. The God Hand one was written by Chris Roper. Weird-ass baby game was written by Joshua Clark.

Was God Hand even really that good? I mean, I doubt it warrants a 3/10, but from what I saw it seems like a mediocre one-note title at best.

I wonder how the define "greatest" games. I usually reserve the word to mean "influential". There's at least a few games on that list that weren't particularly enjoyable, and certainly weren't influential to anything.
Keep in mind that ign epitomizes game journalism's spiral into a massive shithole.

The ign review actually still has spelling errors. Check out Totalbiscuits video on God Hand if you're curious.

Let's face it, handheld games have been disappointing for years.

Strongly disagree.

I thought video game reviewers weren't allowed to give any game a rating under 7 or they'd be blacklisted.

Is it wrong if I don't think Super Mario Galaxy should be #1 on the list? :stupid:

It's a shitty job when you think about it. Either be the ForeverKailyn of video games or give the slightest bit of criticism and get fired and have neckbeards send you death threats.

Godhand was pretty good yeah. One of the better 3D beat-em-ups I've ever played.

The game was about memorization and combos, and you could customize specifically what combos you wanted. The fighting system was extremely dynamic and as was the adaptive difficulty.

It's humor was also top notch.
