Yeah... I'd honestly feel really sad if this site ended. Websites eventually end at some point unless its a big site like Google, but still. KF filled a void that ED left in my heart once it became apparent that it lost its way. I much rather prefer a honorable death than staying alive and rotting like a zombie.
KF was like the last bastion of what I called 'apolitical schadenfreude'. Being able to make fun of almost anything no matter the politics, and getting away with it, although ever since 2016 agenda politics have been extremely apparent on this site which I'm mixed on. The world is becoming increasingly more and more political, the average Joe is expected to be political in some way, so really its more of the world itself changing in such a big way that KF is also impacted. Though I'm all in for any measures to counteract excessive politics sperging.
There is also hope for lolcows though. Jack Scalfani is still entertaining to follow although he's definitely gonna die soon... But I have faith. New decade after all and potentially a new wave of lolcows (in the traditional sense) coming in the aftermath of the shitshow were having so far.
If you had to go... At least I know that KF, was like the one big festival I attended, that had to end eventually. Saw many faces, dunno if I'll see again, but I had fun, and I'm going to move on eventually, for sure. Maybe even use the internet less and less and focus on starting my own family as well. Because once KF dies, and there isn't a new site that can generate as much lulz, I guess its a sign to grow up and realize the internet isn't fun anymore and focus on other stuff. Internet only used for boring stuff like contacting friends or financial stuff. Not counting multiplayer games.
I guess once KF dies, we'll move on to Lolcow.Farms or something?
