Sure, a lot of people are obsessed by sports they do not do themselves, like most soccer fans have never played soccer, but it still seems very strange to carry around tons of bike books, get tattooed all over with bicycle images and symbols and not at least try to ride a bike once.

I seriously think its just autism. Just like a lot of autistic people really really like trains even though they've never driven one, ahuviya really likes bicycles even though they've never ridden one.

I'm actually curious about his descent. I know Phil wasn't always the potato monster he is today, but ED isn't exactly the most accurate source of information. So how did he wind up with the SJW crowd? Did he drink the koolaid and believe he was really going to make the world a better place? Were the signs of any of this crap or did it just come out of the blue?

I'm pretty sure his genderfuckery phase came before his Israel phase, so I don't think he'd go through the trouble of getting an adult circumcision for a dong that would inevitably eventually never end up on the chopping block.

A lot of people choose circumcision for their children during infancy due to the (alleged) health benefits. It's not as much of an exclusively Jewish practice anymore.

His art and his autism got him a surprisingly large following on DeviantArt. They were blindly supportive of him, even as the claims got progressively weirder. I'd like to tangent for a moment here- I promise this is relevant and will dovetail back. People keep talking bout Phil's identity being a phase. While a lot of his identity has fluctuated wildly over the last decade, his claims of hispanicism (is that a word? hispanichood?) have remained consistent since at least 2007, though they started as "I'm a Mexican expatriate living in Canada because conditions in Mexico are terrible." So his understanding of Mexican Paradise has flip flopped, and he's shifted from Mexico to Puerto Rico, but the core latin* persona has been steady since he first started declaring his identities. Similarly, his trans* identity has remained consistent since 2008. I don't know how seriously I take them, but I don't think he's going to wake up one day and suddenly decide he doesn't want to be hispanic or trans, the way he has with religion and other things. If nothing else, they're his equivalent of Scrooge McDuck's Lucky Dime, too valuable to spend because they're the first asspats he ever made.

Now, this is relevant because Phil's early DA activity taught him that declaring "I am ______" got him asspats. Those first claims of Otherness got a rush, and when his RL friends called him on it, they got backlash from a small army of his supporters. "You can't know him, you live in New Jersey and he's a Mexican refugee sheltered in Canada!" He kept making "identity revelations" and people kept loving him for it. This is why Phil has a constant stream of identity swaps. He thinks it's the only way to make friends that won't judge him. He refuses to accept that sometimes, friends call you out because they do care, not because they don't. (Though, having seen the Polyamory Group thread and some of the other people featured here, I suspect this last point may be a failing of cows in general)

Dusty had to strip him naked and shove him in a shower post-shitting self. He found out then. Let's just say he was not happy to be asked. As for when, I suspect he was circumcised at birth. Most American hospitals consider it standard practice, with lines like "it's easier to keep clean and prevent infection" even though the practice was first popularized to make boys less likely to engage in masturbation.

I'd like to respectfully disagree. I remember them talking to me at some point in mid to late 2014 about their ethnic identity crisis. They were convinced they were white and didn't want to be white and I remember them talking to me and saying that they had spoken with a Therapist and the ethnicity they came up with was Hispanic. On their father's side. I remember asking why and how but they never gave me a real answer. So, there has been a lapse in their Hispanic identification.

I've never seen it personally, but I'm inclined to believe that yes they do. I absolutely would not put it past them.

See, this is one of the few humanizing things I've seen about Phil. It's still weird as fuck, but I think we've all gone through phases of questioning our identity. In Phil's case, he's raging against his very skin color, which he unfortunately can't change. If he were really sincere about this, he could always teach English in South America, or just volunteer and participate in the local Latino community. Or even just marry a Puerto Rican lady. It's not like there's a lack of Latino causes to participate in.

Honestly I'm a little disturbed that this therapist was helping Phil pretend to be Hispanic rather than working through his many, many issues.

Also, none of this necessarily contradicts what Weeping with Pity said. Unless he's more delusional than we think, Phil is almost certainly aware that he's not a TRUE AND HONEST translatinx. Hell he probably has a certain amount of anxiety about it. That being said, he simply won't (or can't) admit to his followers that he's really a fat white kid from the east coast. Doesn't mean he doesn't think about it every night.

It's one of the few things about him that makes him well him, I have said before that he is stuck in his early teen phase when he's still trying to find out just who he is and what he belives, The problem for Phil and a number of other people like him they entered this critical phase of self exploration and never left it but have taken things popular at one time and built a identity on that swapping bits out bits as needed but keeping the same core but always never getting it.

Me an Phil are only a month apart in age and Chris is 3 years older (but slightly more stunted than Phil) and I recall that time quite clearly back in the time we where entering that heady mix of hormones, pimples an awquard boners, JLO was THE thing followed by Britney and Christina Agulera but for about 6 - 9 months Latino was HOT. This was also the time for OPL Pokemon was on the Rise an Sonic was on the wane.

Both of them took these to them culturally critical icons and then internalised them, not just liking them but wanting to be them. They internalised there fascination to a point they haven't got their own core personality. What they have in Phil's case is a Angsty mix of 90's an early 2000's edge with what ever was popular within their reach around the time they first had a thought about a girl that didn't involve "cooties" and that edge has lead to what we see today.

Over time he hasn't got over that, and just bolted bits onto the outside of it an will change them to feel like his has a identity without addressing the real problem and in his case it's the fact "He's a Tween that's never grown up" AKA Pervey Peter Pan, ocasionally a bit of self doubt will slip in but it wont last.

According to what @Weeping With Pity and @tweaker the cat have said, Phil's been going through this whole 'latinx' thing for a few years now. In that time, he's had ample opportunity to actually learn Spanish. There are websites that offer free tutorials. He could take a few of these, then read Spanish language websites or watch Spainish language news or videos to help cement his knowledge. Lots of people learn a language this way.

You'd think that if his 'latinx' identity meant as much to him as he claims it does, that he's at least make some effort at learning the language (besides using Google Translate).
