apparently bats have been confirmed to live in the attic.

Imagine all the guano that may have accumulated up until this point...

It's more shit than attic now...

Everything on that patch of land needs a woman's touch.

Chris could find all sorts of Pokémon in that tall grass...

I have a centipede phobia, so the interior state of the house is highly disturbing to me. Not to mention there are probably corners with large piles of cat shit that can't be reached, and the potential to come into contact with rabies if bats live in the attic and happen to be outside when they're waking up and flying out.

Also, if 14 Branchland Court were in my neighborhood, they'd have racked up thousands of dollars worth of fines from the housing association. I can say this pretty confidently as there's a house very near mine in a similar outdoor condition (there's even a car in the driveway that I have never seen them use), and thus likely to have been the house called out in the latest newsletter for having over $7,000 worth of fines (if it's not the worst, it's up there).

Now the really interesting question, if you ask me, is what the climate of 14BC is these days. Is there enough heat being generated by decaying organic matter to keep it at tropical temperatures year-round? Maybe we could see some exotic invertebrates start moving in, like coconut crabs.

|:( Glad I'm not the only one. Generally I'm not that fussed about arthropods, in fact I tend to think they're pretty cool. But centipedes.... my god I fucking hate those things. Learning that there's a type specifically called "house" centipedes creeps the shit out of me. :briefs:

Same with me. Centipedes are creepy as fuck. They have too many legs, their feelers are creepy and they bite. They're evil, man, evil.

^ to be honest i would only be somewhat shocked if Chris had a human centipede infestation

Nice to see I'm not the only one here who gets freaked out by house centipedes. They're supposed to be good for pest control like spiders as they eat insects, but these sons of bitches still creep me the fuck out and I don't want any in my house.

coconut crabs are awesome. If I saw one in person I'd likely approach it (with caution) and touch it. Most people I know would have the opposite reaction.

I'm freaked by anything that has more than four legs, or fewer than two. That means snakes are right out, as well as worms, all insect, spiders, and...of course, centipedes.
