Can I please request spoiler images for potential invertebrates infesting Barb 'n Chris' house, especially the centipedes? I have a massive centipede phobia, and yes it does extend to pictures and video. Please, seriously, I don't want nightmares.

I agree, these pictures are just unholy and I nearly had an heart attack as I scrolled down to see that guy holding all the bugs in his palm and looking down at them almost lovingly.

^I think that if you're going to work around bugs, they had damn well better make you happy.

You're not serious that 14BC is infested with bugs of that size?

That is a joke, right?

I assumed they meant like fleas, or mites. I hope this is a joke that has gone over my head

The house itself is actually slowly transforming into a gigantic zombie beetle. When the transformation is complete, its six legs will sprout out of the ground and it will walk off into the sunset.

Oh fuck you Alec, you made me spit out my soda.

Not sure if 14BC would ever have bugs this big. I think in this case it is not so much about quality (size) as it is about quantity.

Those are Mormon Crickets. We get them all the time around Salt Lake County. They're big bastards and doesn't afraid of anything. They'll walk right up to you. The one in the top photo is a Jerusalem Cricket.

Never heard of them and glad I don't live in Salt Lake, then :P

But we do have cockroaches, flies (i think these two live all across the USA) skeeters, ticks, chiggers, no see ums, the ubiquitous house centipedes, and all sorts of spiders including a few poisonous ones like the black widow or the hobo spider.

We've got Black Widdows, Hobos, and Fiddle Backs. I fucking hate spiders. There aren't a lot of roaches in Utah due to the climate, but when we do get them it's usually because the house or building they're in is filthy. I mean like hoarder filthy. :briefs:

I live in Arizona. I don't know what kind of crickets we have specifically, but they're brown and look like crosses between centipedes and roaches. And since it's so hot here when they start making their cricket noises they're going a mile a minute with it. They actually can give the few cicadas we have a run for their money (unless you're unlucky enough to stand near the cicada, then the cicada wins).

Also, I don't think we have house centipedes here. Just the fullsized motherfuckers. :( And scorpions (including the most venomous in North America), and black widows, and tarantulas, and spiders in general, and gila monsters, and killer bees, and rattlesnakes.

The lesson here folks, is that things in the desert are typically ugly as fuck and annoying, or venomous and wants to kill you.

That's a Jerusalem Cricket, but they live in the western US, not in Chris's area. They mainly eat decaying things so they'd probably have left Bob alone.
Here it is when it's not being held by some weirdo

And here's a house centipede for those who are curious

Seeing as how filthy the Chandlers house is id imagine they have quite a few species of pests living under thier roof,It wouldnt be too farfeched to imagine Chris unknowingly harboring some of these insects on his person, (ei. fleas, bedbugs). I only find solace in the fact that he dosent go out much and has almost no human contact (besides his mother) so he cannot spread his filth to unsuspecting citizens.
