Opening fire would be like lighting a powderkeg, at the moment, they try to contain it without escalating the situation. If push comes to shove and people try to force their way deeper into the Capitol, cops will shoot them, they are already standing there with guns drawn. Again: Are you really legitimately retarded enough to not know that US cops are notoriously triggerhappy to suggest they'd have any kind of problem with shooting a guy?

I would still not say we are anywhere near "its happening", but it will at least cause some arsehole politicians some grief.
