Indeed, with the online service pulled, there's nothing you can do with the Ouya now.Just what the world needed, another Ouya system.
The Woodgrain finish should be a standard choice instead of a limited edition. Anyone interested in this machine is old enough to remember the original and will most likely want their Amico to look like the original.
They sure as hell won't want neon purple.
But they are trying to sell this to families as a hip new product instead of old school Intellivision fans. Don't quite think that's gonna work out the way they envision it.
We don't need another Ouya with gimmick controllers.
I remembered hearing about that being remade a while back so I went looking for it and according to an old press release It's happening, along with a Toejam and Earl remake (?!) unless things have radically changed since then.Imagine the game Microsurgeon with 2021 graphics. I see a wasted opportunity here for not getting the rights to that game from Imagic.
- Imagic Classics REIMAGINED and REMADE EXCLUSIVELY for the Intellivision Amico™: Microsurgeon™, Atlantis™, Demon Attack™, Dracula™, Beauty and the Beast™, Ice Trek™, Swords & Serpents™, Dragonfire™, Truckin'™ AND MORE!
It's the latter, and Tommy Tallarico is in charge and has the rights to the brand. Is this Intellivision the same company as back then? Or is it like Atari where it's a completely different company that just owns the brand name?
The specs are somehow worse than the upcoming Atari VCS (not to be confused with what the Atari 2600 was originally called), which at least has specs that resemble a low-end gaming setup. Here, the Amico is basically a glorified Android TV system, down to its unspecified Snapdragon processor and 2 GB RAM (not upgradeable), and digital only nature. It's also notably more expensive than the VCS; The cheapest VCS costs $199, while the cheapest Amico will cost $249.
A Snapdragon and two measly gigs of RAM? What is this, 2014?

I dunno dude, they're rating the difficulty 7 or 8 out of 10 for BITG in a Completionist run on many sites that do full guides. You need to beat the game 20-30 times in assorted manners.I just want to believe TJ&E could be good again. BitG might be getting there, slowly, but it's still nowhere near as good or as difficult as the original.
AtGames has the rights to Colecovision IIRC.So we have a new Atari meme console and a new Intellivision meme console, where’s the Colecovision?
Top kek, AtGames is just as bad as Chinese companies making bootleg mini NESes.AtGames has the rights to Colecovision IIRC.
Fans convinced Sega to ditch them and to have another company make the Genesis mini, which actually turned out very good because it came with Castlevania Bloodlines.Top kek, AtGames is just as bad as Chinese companies making bootleg mini NESes.
The remade games look cool for the most part, AD&D Cloudy Mountain looks like it has expanded gameplay. But it would be nice if they included the original versions too.
