It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

He is a total cuck sellout. I can't believe Americans gave him success, it must be the cheap bogan accent that makes him sound "funny."

The thing is, his standup is pretty fucking funny. Despite me disagreeing with his political stances, I liked his DT bit until he went on a wholesale cuck rant about how DT pushes a hateful agenda or whatnot:

Netflix(?) probably paid him to do it. It happens a lot in their standup stuff.

People parroting the prevailing party line to get mainstream coverage? Say it isn't so! Actors and Comedians are the most genuine of people who mean everything they ever say.

Also, this and the tommy robinson thing demonstrates: Film the media. Always have something you can use if they misrepresent you.

I can’t decide whether I like him or not. He has his funny moments, but much of what he says is poorly researched and really fucking stupid if you think too much about it. He’s funny in the same way a drunk at a bar is funny. He sure as hell is no George Carlin.

His stand-up, back before he decided to get really political, was funny to me.

But I have a hard time respecting a man who not only comes to live in America and then dedicates part of his act to telling Americans they should live but who also justifies his anti-gun stance by retelling the story of how he and his family were robbed and tied up for hours in their home, then emphasises "nothing happened to us, you don't need guns." To say that's a cuck-tier mindset is putting it mildly.

He goes around pretending he is a true and honest Cape Coloured (Afrikaans speaking descendants of Khoisan and Dutch/Afrikaner with 400 year claim to South African soil), but really he is just a garden variety globalist mutt (English speaking descendant of Jew immigrant and Xhosa Bantu with just 150 year claim to South African soil on the Xhosa side and no ancestral claim on Jew side)

It's almost Shawn King levels of stolen volar melanin
I don't know how anyone ever found him funny; his delivery is terrible but the writing is worse. John Stewart become insufferable but for a long time was funny- same as John Oliver, tho he too because infected with The Smug™. Trevor Noah is less entertaining than even maddow ever was and he's supposed to be a comedian wtf

A teacher of mine showed that clip of his standup once during the events of the Parkland shooting to emphasize that we don't need guns. That same teacher also showed a clip of his show with him "owning" a gun advocate by saying that because Australia has gun control that means Americans need gun control because crime went down despite Australia already not really having any guns anyway and being safer than America...so yeah, he does his best to try to justify his cuckery even though it would be better if he was center or perhaps center-right.

I was a huge Jim Jefferies fan. His first 3 or 4 stand up specials are amazing. The man is a total degenerate, but I'd say he was always very not PC left. I think his bit on guns riled up a lot of people and he decided to lean into it to stir more shit.

But he totally sold out for the Comedy Central. The guy has no right to be morally superior to anyone. I listened to his old podcast Talkin' Shit with Jim and Eddie. He once candidly told a story about sleeping with a possibly AIDS riddled Comedy club slut in South Africa (so AIDS was a legit concern), then banging his girlfriend with out a condom before the test results were back cause she'd be suspicious of he started all of a sudden.

It's a great story from a filthy comic I used to like, but he's retarded to try and play nice to the progressive crowd who has dozens of hours of content to tear him down with.

No one in South Africa likes him either. He's a try hard. He thinks he's funny and everyone convinces themselves he is funny. He's a smug cunt as well.

Two illegal aliens who killed two Americans in separate hit-and-run crashes last year will each be eligible for early release after 14 months to five years of serving prison time.

Illegal alien Neri Damian Cruz-Carmano, as Breitbart News reported, pleaded guilty this month after killing 26-year-old Jamar Beach in a North Carolina hit-and-run crash. Cruz-Carmano was driving drunk at the time. The judge overseeing the case handed down the maximum sentence of 20 to 33 months in prison.

The illegal alien, though, will be eligible for early release from prison after just 14 months of his sentence for the death of Beach. Now, Beach’s family is fighting to ensure that Cruz-Carmano is quickly deported if released from prison at any time.

“He had no business here in the first place and he should not have been operating a vehicle,” Beach’s mother, Cameo Robinson, told local media. “He didn’t have a license. So, therefore, he’s being treated better than the citizen who’s been killed.”

“He gets to go home with his two children. He goes home to his wife. My grandson, he doesn’t have a father,” Robinson said.

“I’m going to encourage deportation because he has no business here,” Robinson said. “Now that he’s committed this horrendous crime, he definitely doesn’t deserve to be in America. Because if he wanted to be in America he would have come legally.”

Meanwhile, Cruz-Carmano’s defense attorney said the illegal alien was merely trying to “make a better life for himself” by living in the U.S. illegally.

In another deadly hit-and-run case last year, illegal alien Miguel A. Ibarra Cerda, from Mexico, was sentenced to only five to 15 years in prison for killing 14-year-old Justin Lee, who was riding his bike at the time in Wixom County, Michigan.

Cerda pleaded guilty to killing Lee in the crash and for failing to stop at the scene of the crime. In five years, the illegal alien will be eligible for release from prison.

Lee’s mother told the court in December that she has “cried out to God many times: ‘Why did you take my son away from me?’” since the killing of her teenage son.

“God tells me he understands how I feel,” Pattie Warner-Lee said. “This is a sacrifice to cover our sins so we can leave the earth eternally in Christ.”

In the case of 22-year-old Pierce Corcoran, who was allegedly killed in a hit-and-run crash by an illegal alien in Tennessee days before New Year’s Eve, there has been a similar pattern of leniency, according to the Corcoran family.

This week, 44-year-old illegal alien Francisco Eduardo Franco-Cambrany was ordered deported from the U.S. after he received a $3,500 bond in January. Online, the Corcoran family said harsh charges should be placed on the illegal alien.

“No felony charges for entering in the first place, killing Pierce, driving uninsured and without a license,” a sibling of Pierce’s wrote. “What an insult to my brother’s life.”

There are about 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the U.S. with experts projecting at least 500,000 illegal aliens to successfully cross through the southern border this year. The overwhelming majority of illegal aliens are never deported from the U.S. after either crossing illegally or overstaying their visas.

"Yes, it was an accident. However, Mr. Cruz-Carmona, he never stopped. He decapitated my son and then kept going with his body lodged in the side of the van," Robinson said. "For me, that's not an accident. That's a choice at that point."

She said that Cruz-Carmona's punishment should be deportation, because "he doesn’t deserve the opportunity to live in the land of the free."

He was here, your honor, to try to make a better life for himself, to try to send money back to his family in Mexico, to work here," attorney Woody Vann argued. "It's a story that is repeated in this courtroom or on that street corner daily and in the newscasts daily."

With credit for time served, Cruz-Carmano will be eligible for release in 14 months.

How is he not being deported? He's an illegal alien driving without a license, was intoxicated, killed someone, but no talk of deportation, only a minor jail sentence, barely a year!

Woman died after choking when fitting as many Jaffa Cakes into her mouth as possible

A young mother died after choking while attempting to fit as many Jaffa Cakes into her mouth as possible.

Bethan Gaskin, 24, passed out and stopped breathing after the chocolate snacks became lodged in her throat.

The mother-of-one tried to spit them out, but collapsed at her home in Bourne, Lincolnshire on February 22 and was rushed to hospital.

The beauty therapist suffered a heart attack but tragically died at Peterborough City Hospital five days later from sustained brain injuries.

On Friday, Ms Gaskin's adoptive mother Michele, 52, who witnessed the tragedy take place, warned other revellers of the dangers of attempting 'food challenges'.

She said: 'I remember raising my eyebrows when Bethan started the game, thinking 'how old are you?' and telling her to spit them out.

'She was like a little hamster with her cheeks bulging.

'She danced off to the toilet to get rid of them and it was only a while later we realised she had been gone a long time.'

A friend went to check on Ms Gaskin and found her slumped on the bathroom floor.

Her panic-stricken mother dialled 999 while one of her friends performed CPR as they waited for emergency services to arrive.

Continuing, Michele said: "In my heart I knew we had lost her before they put her into the ambulance. Too much time was passing."

The family gathered at her bedside to say their goodbyes on February 27. Michelle said: 'She looked perfect and so beautiful. It was just like she was sleeping.

'So many people have said they play a similar game with marshmallows. Even my 90-year-old aunt said she does it with Maltesers.

'This just shows how fragile we are.'

The family also spoke of the heart-breaking moment they told Bethan's three-year-old daughter Lili about her mother's death.

Michele said: "I just told her that mummy was very sick and the doctors couldn't make her better so she has died and we can't see her again. We talk about Bethan with Lili and she has asked a few times when we are going to mummy's."

Ms Gaskin's father Joe, 57, added: "We just tell her that mummy is an angel in heaven now."

"It was the hardest thing to have to answer all those questions when we had just said goodbye."

Ms Gaskin donated her heart, liver, kidneys, pancreas and one of her lungs.

Joe, a painter and decorator, added: "At the minute it's too soon, but I think in time it will help us to know that Bethan saved other people."

Joe and Michele adopted Bethan when she was six months old as well as her brother Joseph when he was born two years later.

Bethan had worked as a carer and was now hoping to pursue a career in the beauty industry.

Dad Joe added: "There was more make-up in her flat than anything else. Bethan enjoyed spending time with her friends and also took part in medieval re-enactments.

"She was also looking forward to raising Lili and giving her the opportunities she enjoyed herself as a child. Her life was just beginning to look up after a tough time."

In a tragic twist, Michele found a Mother's Day card Bethan had bought for her while sorting through her belongings.

She said: "Bethan would normally leave everything until the last minute but my nagging was obviously paying off.

"I found a card that she had bought for me but not written on. It was heart-breaking to find it but I'll still put it up on Mother's Day."

Michele said of Ms Gaskin's 3-year-old daughter: "Lili was her life and she wanted her to experience everything she had done.

"Joseph worshipped his sister when they were younger and now him and Lili are very close.

"Bethan was only 5ft 2ins and Joseph is 6ft but she always put him in his place and now Lili does too. v We were blessed to have her as long as we did."

An anonymous uni American instructor in the Grauniad talks about the damage admitting unqualified students causes to higher ed and science. It's framed in the context of the recent bribery scandal, but everything s/he says applies to racial discrimination, too.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...ids-bribe-their-way-into-college-i-teach-them

...Students who can’t get into elite schools through the front door based on academic merit don’t change once they’re in class. They can’t do the work, and are generally uninterested in gaining the skills they need in order to do well. Exhibit A from the recent admissions corruption scandal is “social media celebrity” Olivia Jade Gianulli, whose parents bought her a place at the University of Southern California, and who announced last August to her huge YouTube following that “I don’t know how much of school I’m going to attend. But I do want the experience of, like, game days, partying. … I don’t really care about school.”

Every unqualified student admitted to an elite university ends up devouring hugely disproportionate amounts of faculty time and resources that rightfully belong to all the students in class. By monopolizing faculty time to help compensate for their lack of necessary academic skills, unqualified students can also derail faculty research that could benefit everyone, outside the university as well as within it. To save themselves and their careers, many of my colleagues have decided that it is no longer worth it to uphold high expectations in the classroom. “Lower your standards,” they advise new colleagues. “The fight isn’t worth it, and the administration won’t back you up if you try.”

In comparing stories, we have also found that such students strive to “work the system”, using university procedures to get the grades they desire, rather than those they have earned, and if necessary to punish faculty who refuse to accede to those demands. It is perhaps unsurprising that students whose parents circumvent the rules to get them into elite universities are often the ones who become adept at manipulating the university system in a corrupt way.

...

This kind of thing has easily added 10-12 hours a week to my workload, and I know I’m not alone in that respect. As one of my colleagues put it, the unskilled and entitled students will “eat you alive”. Over the past decades as an instructor, I have seen my teaching workload increase dramatically despite holding the same number of courses in the same subjects. What has changed is the proportion of unqualified students in the classroom.

While wading through the feverish swamps and fetid cesspits of the internet, you will likely come across the contemptuous and accusatory snarling phrase “cultural Marxism”.

Norwegian ultra-right terrorist Anders Breivik rationalised his actions by claiming his murderous rampage in 2011 was a defensive strike against cultural Marxism. Former Labor leader and current advocate for the racist Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Mark Latham promoted the viral toxic falsity of cultural Marxism to attack multiculturalism and immigration.

This term, in the view of the conservative right, constitutes a conspiratorial endeavour by multiple non-white and non-Christian forces to sabotage and ultimately overthrow white, Western Christian civilisation. There are, of course, numerous iterations of this view, but that is the central component.

Is there any truth to this? No.

So why propagate this myth? Because it serves as a scaffolding to unite the disparate and fractious groups of the conservative right around a single philosophical worldview.

As Jason Wilson of The Guardian explained, it provides a unifying theory for the conservative right to wrap themselves in the mantle of victimhood. Wilson said: “What do The Australian’s columnist Nick Cater, video game hate group #Gamergate, Norwegian mass shooter Anders Breivik and random blokes on YouTube have in common?

“Apart from anything else, they have all invoked the spectre of ‘cultural Marxism’ to account for things they disapprove of — things like Islamic immigrant communities, feminism and, er, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten.”

The main themes of the cultural Marxism conspiracy theory go back decades. They have emerged from the phantasmagoric world of the alt-right thanks to inordinate publicity given by mainstream “respectable” conservative politicians.

While conspiracy theories are rife in the septic-tanks of the alt-right, they become weaponised as political platforms when advocated, with numerous mutations, by the conservative right. The latter, informed by religious fundamentalist and fascistic inputs, becomes a platform for conspiratorial perspectives that toxify the wider society.

This mix has dangerous consequences.

So what is this mysterious and all-consuming conspiracy theory? Let’s attempt a working summation of this large subject.

A working definition
For all its various permutations, the basic core of this contemptuous snarl remains as follows: there exists a basic and unscrupulous alliance between feminism, socialism, mass immigration, multiculturalism, indigenous nations, Islam, identity politics, the LGBTI community — essentially anyone despised by the alt-right — to undermine the character of white, Christian nations by moving the arena of struggle from class to culture.

A series of culture wars, it is alleged, is the new tactic of the cultural Marxists, surreptitiously working their way through the educational and cultural institutions to take over the capitalist nations.

The notion that the universities are overwhelmingly staffed by radicals indoctrinating students in the tenets of Marxism is ludicrous.

If universities intended to churn out graduates ideologically committed to the goals of Marxism, then they have failed ignominiously. Capitalism has remained resilient throughout the decades since the dissolution of the Soviet bloc.

With that last point, we come to the main reason why the zany theory of cultural Marxism has gained traction.

With the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1990–91, the radical and conservative right needed a new enemy on which to fixate. Throughout the decades of the Cold War, the Communist system, as embodied in the USSR, provided a target on which the right could focus their obsessive rage.

With the removal of that target, they required a new rationale — and one was provided.

William Lind and Pat Buchanan, outspoken advocates for the radical Right, formulated an updated version of the old conspiracy theory — cultural Marxism was infiltrating and subverting capitalist society.

Class struggle was supposedly no longer the prime area of Marxian subversion. Culture became the new stomping ground for the pesky Marxists. Any expression of the multiethnic and sexual diversity of society could now be attacked as manifestations of the underlying agenda of cultural Marxism.

Repackaged anti-Semitism
From its inception as a coherent philosophy, Marxism — or more correctly, scientific socialism — has provided a criticism of the cultural domination of capitalism. This is nothing new.

The detractors of Marxism, from the beginning, attacked this cultural critique as a product of the allegedly Jewish origins of scientific socialism. An outsized role was ascribed to the fact that the German labour movement contained, among its adherents and leaders, workers of Jewish background.

The notion that Jews form a distinctive conspiratorial formation is at the heart of numerous conspiracy theories and formed the basis for the earliest attacks against the doctrines of Marxism.

This core anti-Semitism has been resuscitated by the modern cultural Marxism conspiracy theory.

Mikhail Bakunin, an anarchist leader, attacked Marxism on the grounds that ostensible Jewish ethnocentrism prevented the Jewish people from fully participating in a project of cross-cultural and multiethnic worker emancipation.

This portrayal of Jews involved in a secret cabal to overthrow the existing order and implement their plans of domination did not start with Bakunin, but has formed a central component of many critiques of Marxism from the ultra-right.

From the 1920s, the Nazi movement — exemplars for today’s alt-right — propagated the myth of “Judeo-Bolshevism”, an alleged secretive grouping of Jews, this time in Bolshevik form, operating to overthrow capitalist society from within.

At its core, today’s cultural Marxism conspiracy theory contains an updated, recycled and modernised version of the old anti-Semitic Jewish cabal trope.

Frankfurt School
This is where we need to examine the so-called Frankfurt School, and the entirely deceitful portrayal of this branch of academia by the modern white supremacist right. We need to understand the role that this deception plays when elaborating why the cultural Marxism conspiracy theory is so toxic.

The Frankfurt School, more correctly known as the Institute for Social Research, was a grouping of German Jewish intellectuals who studied the influence and application of culture. They fled Nazi Germany in the 1930s, and continued their work in the United States.

These thinkers, coming from different intellectual traditions, tried to understand why the wider European proletariat did not rise up in revolutionary fervour in the 1920s. The role of culture was highlighted as a barrier to the consciousness of the working class.

The Frankfurt School’s major theoreticians also included examinations of gender roles and patriarchy, and drew upon the work of Sigmund Freud. A number of these scholars became neo-Freudians, elaborating and revising some of Freud’s basic ideas. This work became the springboard for further examinations of the instruments of cultural domination.

The alt-right has taken this school, and in particular its German Jewish scholars, as the incubator of a vast anti-Western conspiracy.

Let us presume that the German-Jewish intellectuals of Frankfurt School intended on subverting capitalist civilisation through the propagation of Marxist and feminist doctrines. What was the fate of the collective of philosophers and theorists of the Frankfurt School? If they ever did intend to undermine and overthrow Western civilisation, then we have to conclude that they failed miserably.

Rather than serving as a hotbed of leftist agitation, the Frankfurt School’s thinkers merged into the very institutions they were allegedly attempting to subvert. Only one, Herbert Marcuse, remained a Marxist for the entirety of his life. The others all sank into neo-Freudianism. Others, like Theodor Adorno, were openly hostile to the 1960s counter-culture and protest movements.

Indeed, the Frankfurt School was the progenitor of postmodernism, the ultimate repudiation of any kind of transformative political project. Postmodernism rejects all kinds of grand, totalising narratives — hardly the basis for a monolithic, surreptitious conspiracy aimed at taking over society.

Cultural diversity and conspiracy
All Marxist intellectuals have, at one point in their lives, examined the capitalist mechanisms of cultural domination in Western society. Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci famously while imprisoned wrote books on this very subject.

Is there a fight back by the disenfranchised and impoverished against the dominant capitalist culture of consumerism? Yes. Expressions of cultural and gender diversity reflect the multiple identities of people in the working class.

Is there a secretive cabal of Jewish cultural Marxists intent on toppling Western civilisation? No, there is not.

Professor Samuel Moyn from Yale University wrote that the alt-right and their mainstream enablers advocate a conspiratorial worldview because it homogenises and combines various groups of people into a shadowy, secretive network to thwart “normal” white, Christian society.

The conspiratorial framework is quite flexible, and can be adapted to include any number of groups the alt-right loves to hate. Feelings of white resentment can be effectively channelled into attacking minority groups and scapegoats, rather than focusing on the capitalist system that has undermined the living standards of everyone.

This is actually quite balanced take on the subject. It's true that the idea of Cultural Marxism as conspiracy is bullshit and people who believe in this idea are gullible. However, it's also true that of the institutions mentioned in the article, especially the academia across the western world is indeed firmly in the hands of the leftists. This, in itself, is not a proof of conspiracy.
