It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

As a Catholic and as a woman, this makes my blood fucking boil. Not only is it insanely disrespectful to my faith, it's insanely irritating because these fuckwits think that they're SAVING OPPRESSED WOMYN EVERYWHERE by parading around topless and acting 3edgy5me instead of actually fucking helping people.

And if you didn't know, those crazy chicks are from the radical feminist group FEMEN. FEMEN is so fucking off the rails that even the vast majority of Tumblrinas condemn them. Here are some fun facts about FEMEN:

• It's masterminded by a Ukrainian dude named Victor Svyatski. That's right, the most radically feminist group on the planet is headed by a man. Behind the scenes footage shows that he controls everything that the women do, ordering them how to protest and bullying them when things don't go smoothly. It should be noted that the Ukraine still struggles with women's rights and has a serious problem with human trafficking, so FEMEN probably did need a man to help them get their feet off the ground due to how legitimately patriarchal the society is. However, Svyatski still refuses to let go of the reins and generally acts like a dick.
• FEMEN constantly talks over and babies religious women (as the whole Vatican spectacle shows, they hate religion), particularly Muslim women. Now, while it's true that in some Middle Eastern countries women are forced into burqas against their will and face being stoned if they show any skin (and obviously that's a serious human rights violation), FEMEN seems to believe that ALL Muslim women are forced to wear hijabs and the like and need to be liberated from them. Countless Muslim women have come forward and expressed that they choose to cover themselves and don't need to be "liberated" from their faith, but FEMEN refuses to listen to them. FEMEN also staged topless protests (their one and only schtick) of Islam, gathering outside mosques with messages like "FUCK YOUR MORALS" painted across their bare chests. Needless to say, Muslim women were not impressed. They've also done shit like attacking mosques and churches and desecrating holy symbols.
• That being said, a lot of people are upset that FEMEN, comprised of mostly European members, keeps trying to force their ideology onto Arabic/African/non-European women.
• FEMEN is supported by basically nobody other than themselves. Ukrainian women hate them, moderate feminists hate them, radical feminists hate them, as does most of the world. Many people have pointed out that FEMEN doesn't seem to have any long-term goals other than gaining publicity for themselves and getting money through selling merchandise. FEMEN has nothing to offer but shock value, and soon even that will be gone.
• They hold onto the "you're either with us or against us" mentality with an iron fist. Feminists who disagree with them aren't "real" feminists. If you're a Muslim or a Christian woman or a woman who isn't a feminist, then you're a poor, oppressed victim of religion/the patriarchy who needs FEMEN to swoop in and rescue you. Women who protest that they aren't oppressed and in need of saving are obviously just turned around and need help. Basically, FEMEN wants to force their ideology on everyone instead of accommodating and working with the many ideologies others already believe in.
• FEMEN acts like they're completely revolutionary and "the new face of feminism" while completely ignoring other feminists movements. Unsurprisingly, other feminists aren't pleased with this.
• This is just a random note, but FEMEN (topless as always) ganged up on Vladimir Putin in protest of his policies. Hilariously, he just smiled at the naked women and later said that he "liked it" and wished that his security guards had been more gentle with the protesters.

Tl;dr- FEMEN is the PETA or Westburo Baptist Church of feminism. They're even crazier than the Tumblrinas. Stay away at all costs.

FEMEN manages to be so vile and off-putting that even Tumblr radfems stay as far away from them as possible. They're seriously the biggest bunch of idiots. In a way, they're kind of like PETA in that all they care about is being as shocking and controversial as possible so that people will give them money that they can spend on anything that's not actually related to their cause. I have to say though, I don't like how the situation was handled. Some guy was literally kicking one of the protesters while she was on the ground. Regardless of how you feel about violence or these FEMEN idiots, I think we can all agree that beating them is definitely not the proper way to detain them because it feeds into their "oppressed victim" mentality.

Also, there are a lot of euphoric comments by people enlightened by their own intelligence on that article, lol.

I was quickly disappointed.

Actually, I thought the same thing. The workshop would be great for people of certain ages, backgrounds and beliefs; older people on their own for the first time, for example, or for people in their early teens. Both genders could benefit.

On the upside, these clubs are turning out to a light, delicious lulz snack. (Unless it's a sao.) I've been doing some reading, and I'm enjoying being able to go 'that's weird' at someone without loathing them on a personal or moral level.
