Imagine what he could do with a more generous budget. Those first few minutes were legitimately tense, lmao.
Fuck Jew Jew Abrams, fuck Taika Whatthefuckity. I'd like to watch the work of this IH guy.

Giving people like IH or Wendi a proper budget would be easy money for any streaming service.Imagine what he could do with a more generous budget.

Curious about this. What’s he done/said?I'm kind of surprised he still hangs out with Ordinary Things though as the dude is a major cuck compared to the people he associates these days like Rusty Cage and JonTron.
I loved that video so much, when I started watching Our Flag Meets Death I was so annoyed for about 3 episodes because I knew I recognised the story from somewhere but couldn't quite connect the dots that I had learned of Steede Bonnet from IH.The Gentleman Pirate are legitimately my favourite projects of his.
From the title I thought it was going to be about that guy who died while spelunking in the Nutty Putty cave about ten years ago, but it ended up being even more terrifying.New video:
From what I remember, as he may have taken the video down, but he basically came out with a Quintin take of "right wing bad please praise globohomo".Curious about this. What’s he done/said?
idk, that sounds like they would end up being contractually obligated to produce 12 episodes, all 44 minutes in length, by March 2023 or something restrictive like that. I don't think it would be as good and they would probably burn out. It would also lock them in to only making "main channel" content. I can't imagine Netflix/Amazon signing up for a documentary style series which also includes getting the whole IH package, a package that is mostly episodes of no predetermined length retelling game plots or talking about buying sour candy as a child but sometimes there is a documentary.Giving people like IH or Wendi a proper budget would be easy money for any streaming service.
Instantly compelling documentary content over shit that nobody else knows about.
I've lived in cities, suburb, and the country: they each have their own pros and cons. With that said, I also don't understand why suburbs get so much hate, especially from progressives. They often use the term "suburb" as some kind of insult like I'm supposed to be ashamed of being white and living in a small town. Forgive me for not paying several thousand a month for some shithole apartment in the ghetto.
I used to enjoy Ordinary Things up until just this year when he made his 2021 review video: that was actually the video that caused me to stop watching his channel. I was even about to mention this in the thread for What made you stop watching a Youtuber by @PeriodicTrouble -- so if you happen to see this exact comment again, you'll know I just recycled it. Anyway, Ordinary Things seemed pretty decent for a while because made enjoyable background noise surface level facts, and because he often collaborated with Internet Historian which led me to believe he was based. But sadly, with his 2021 wrap-up, he went full neoliberal normalfag:
Basically, he showed his true colors and went from being a cynical pop facts channel to a straight up angry, snarky Reddit fag pandering to normies.
- Focuses heavily on muh January 6th and unironically says Democracy died
- Uses Reddit-tier socialist rants against crypto and NFT's
- Promotes Reddit's r/antiwork as if they're heroes and doing good -- granted, this was before the infamous FOX News tranny janny interview
- Unironically dogpiles on Joe Rogan and makes more horse paste references
- Attacks Tim Pool for some reason regarding Squid Game (whether you hate the guy or not, it just seemed lowbrow and unusual)
- Very subtlety (but noticeably) dunks on Rittenhouse by flashing the infamous image of him crying
The second he said "incels" in an Incognito Mode video, I started doubting him a bit.For reference, the video I was talking about for Ordinary Things is still up and here's more info about it.
I've seen way too many YouTubers content die for massive cash influx. I'd rather they keep doing work with MS Paint.Imagine what he could do with a more generous budget.

Thanks for finding the video! I did watch it when it was uploaded but I don’t remember much of it, probably had it on as background. I’ll give it a rewatch at some point with fresh eyes. For reference, the video I was talking about for Ordinary Things is still up and here's more info about it.
I looked into Ordinary Things because of IH and completely wrote him off. The I looked into Sumito and that's no fun either. And then... IH makes it fun even when these otherwise painfully unfunny youtubers are part of it. I thought I would like Sumito videos but no, they're shit. Thanks for finding the video! Yeah I agree. The Incognito Mode collabs are pretty entertaining I think because IH is usually throwing so many curveballs at his guest.I looked into Ordinary Things because of IH and completely wrote him off. Holy shit this was good. Not as funny as some other videos he's done but God damn I was gripped even though I knew the ending.New video:
I haven't really liked anyone that works with IH as a standalone, with the one exception being Jon "If it ain't white, it ain't right" Tron who I never really watched before but enjoyed his content as a sort of popcorn thing. IH though is great.I looked into Ordinary Things because of IH and completely wrote him off. The I looked into Sumito and that's no fun either. And then... I usually try not to look into people's politics too much as usually they're retarded regardless if they're left or right, but I hate when people try to inject them in a smug way into their content. All of the political content people are fags too, whether it's Kirk or Vaush. Thanks for finding the video! Tbh I’m pretty laidback about people thinking and voting differently to me, I just want them to extend the same courtesy to me. That’s what most of my problem with the current political situation is—everyone can only tolerate listening to people they already agree with. I hate the way lefties speak to people on Twitter—the sanctimonious ‘educate yourself’ and ‘do better’ attitude is so much nastier than how any of us on here speak to each other. But I’m also wary of getting into the right wing version of ‘that person is problematic’ (unless pedophile or something actually heinous of course).
I did like his TED talk on Internet freedom or whatever it was, but I do wonder if he’d apply that attitude to somewhere like the KF.
And it's not scripted, what I've seen from [whispy mustasche, forgot his name] and Sumito is scripted talking head videos. It doesn't feel natural. I'm sure the Incognito mode videos are them talking bullshit for three hours and maybe they get two really 15-20 minute videos out if it. Or maybe nothing, I don't know shit but there's probably things that they have scrapped completely. The absurd curveballs are great because it makes the other person think on their feet. I'm obviously in the minority when I say that the Jon Tron video felt a bit weak, but the interview segment was stellar. I've seen a couple of JonTron videos in the past and he's fine, he can work with a script waaaay better than IH regulars, but it felt like he tried to perform and live up to being funny internet man in that video. Then the interview segment happened and it became fantastic.Yeah I agree. The Incognito Mode collabs are pretty entertaining I think because IH is usually throwing so many curveballs at his guest.
