It's impressive how much you can see it being a proto DEI game. Nowadays it's quaint in how mild it is. That sarcastic option reminds me of so many memes. I can't believe writing only became worse.New Storymode video, this time about Fallout 4.
They are creating robots that are physically indistinguishable from real human, essentially from nothing, and can do so in literal seconds based on what we see in the institute when we get there.unless it's retardedly high end technology it should be impossible to fake.
...a gun!Honestly, there's a great troll opportunity out of this, where he should invite HBomberGuy to his show & do a topic on Plagiarism. Just imagine the opening:
Synths are basically bladerunner style replicants. The only 'non human' part of their biology that is obvious, is some random small cybernetic parts in them. They really wasted the potential of the entire synth plotline; in a way that makes the Institute look very retarded. As Rick said, they literally print out humans within seconds, fully ready to rumble, and can teleport. There is quite literally nothing stopping them drowning the brotherhood in synth soldiers, with 24/7 harassment raids. They have the FEV; they could even just dump out hordes of supermutants onto them if they really felt like it.I never understood why can't you just see if synths bleed, or that the blood itself is legit, unless it's retardedly high end technology it should be impossible to fake.
The institute is absolutely the worst thing about 4 for me. Nothing about them makes sense the way its portrayed in game.Synths are basically bladerunner style replicants. The Institute fundamentally don't act like a collection of intelligent, educated people. They act like wasteland morons handed random technology. They have no grasp of any sort of long term strategy, or goals, and think that 'ignore world, it ignore us!' is somehow a viable strategy. The institute is absolutely the worst thing about 4 for me. They could basically cure the commonwealth with their amazing tech but don't, because the last time they tried helping the topside folk shit went sideways and they gave up after that.
They could utterly dominate the entirety of the wasteland, if not the fucking world, with their tech and synth/Mutant armies.
Hell they could even just covertly help the wasteland by sending out 3rd gen synths disguised as traders and farmers, planting/selling their super well growing, non-radiated seeds, and use their synth crows to spread seeds all over the land. They could also be trying to purify the water the same way the Brotherhood did for DC.
But they don't. They don't do anything like this. Instead they do retarded shit like have you replace a farmer with a synth so it can plant their genetically modified gourds to see how well they can grow in irradiated soil. And when that's done, they wipe out the rest of the family and recall the synth. They murder an entire family just to plant a few gourds. They're fucking retarded.
I've been rewatching some of the older ones and one thing that always cracks me up is Q&A session called "Question, Mark?"I still miss the Queen and Zucc presenters, not going lie.![]()
This was entertaining, though the shilling for gamersupps got really annoying by the end. It felt more like a joke that was being run into the ground, which it was. But I'm interested in part two of the actual content.New Storymode video, this time about Fallout 4.
I got to give it to Historian, I'm amazed he managed to fuck up boiling beans.
I don't get how it came into a Choose your own Adventure in the end but fun episode.
I like that the person they kill in the first part is a cyborg with the magical ability to ignore universal decay and looks exactly the same as he did 60 years ago just to facilitate that twist.2nd part of Fallout 4 expleened is out, and as someone who never played the game but did see all of the shitposting around it:
holy shit i didn't know Father WAS ACTUALLY SHAUN, when i saw all of those "I am your son, you must kill and replace random people with synths because my motives are too complex" memes i thought there would be some kind of twist about him not really being your son and it being a trick so there would be someone competent in charge once he kicked the bucket. Also why the fuck do you still blow up the institute on the other 2 endings? Shouldn't there be an option to just take their stuff, live a better life and not make more synths? God this was stupid.
