Besides black gay couple (Snowflake and Safeplace ), the New Warriors comic have also have : a spic boy (Screentime), a dyke vampire (B-Negative) and a fat black woman (Trailblazer) as main heroes.

It's because these twats want to promote 'diversity and inclusion' but are also the kind of people that actually find the masculinity of black men (or frankly just black men in general) too threatening, so they turn all the black men they write into 'Gordon Good-Brother's (as Yaboi Zack would say), who's sole purpose is to simp for all the stronk female characters that 'like the science' and don't need no man to complete them.
It's no surprise that the black guy has no offensive capabilities, that's left to 'stronk woman', he's there to be her literal shield.

Speaking of Ya Boi Zack, aka Diversity and Comics, aka Richard C. Meyer. It's been strongly suggested that this entire 5 issue book exists solely to 'own' that particular comicbook Youtube reviewer, because New Warriors is his favorite 90's comic and Night Thrasher is his favorite member of that team. Slow hand clap for exec editor Tom Brevoort, you've clearly pwned those racist Comicsgaters!

I can't wait to see who the villains of this are going to be. Given the level of subtlety on display, probably Alt-Knight and his sidekick Incel-boy. The shady mastermind pulling the strings behind the scenes will probably be revealed to be the infamous hacker known as 4Chan.

I uncovered some unreleased promotional images from the upcoming Netflix series based on Safespace and Snowflake. I'm glad the comic book industry has dropped all pretext and is giving us the unabashedly non-white perspectives we need to hear.

I could write a list of why this is bad for a solid hour but here's a few hot takes

-If I didnt have such a low opinion of Marvel I'd write this off as a stealth parody.
- Safe spaces power is pretty useless as its way too situational.
-It says a lot that Trailblazer is the least terrible of the five.
- Twitter are genuinly right about this one it reall does feel like diversity as envisioned by a middle class white dude and approved by a corporations think tank.
-Even the group who this is marketed towards don't like this.
-It probably would have been a good idea to only have maybe two of these guys maybe filter in some of young marvel characters like iron heart, miles morales or one of the millions of go nowhere characters they don't do anything with. you know mix a little coke into the vodka.



Marvel are increasingly begining to feel like their job is too keep useless fat fucks like the quartering out of the dole que.

I'm going to take a guess that this isn't anywhere NEAR the first non-binary hero. There's probably been a whole slew of gender switching aliens, like that teen alien that switched genders for Marvels big teen gay story from a decade ago. Someone has done a enby before, even a human enby, and someone will do it again and again, and every time they'll pretend like it's the first time.

Every first in comics now has to come with a million million asterisks. Because all this firsty first obsession stuff has been tried before with characters that didn't last, or didn't really catch on, even if they linger in the margins. Like all the wokepoints Green Lanterns that they keep adding because to the outside world Green Lantern is a major superhero, but inside the DCU you can have thousands of Green Apple Space Cops.
