Oh, there's not too much to forum etiquette here. Just don't reveal your powerlevel, or you could become a lolcow yourself! The nature of this forum means that there are a variety of people, so it's not hard to fit in.

G'day there. Found this forum via another one that has a mega thread on failpeople. Chris was one of them. Surprisingly I'd never heard of him, even though I've been on the net since 1994. Anyway, I've been lurking since January and decided to join, as you all seem like a decent lot :heart-empty:

I've been reading the cwcki pretty obsessively.

Oh and I'm an Indigenous Australian, so fair shake of the sauce bottle if you have any questions. Dinkum.

Hello everyone! I first heard of this forum through lurking on cwcki, but I've participated a bit in another forum for lolcows/snowflakes. I'm also pretty familiar with tumblr and the interesting folks that hang around there, but I'm more of a lurker when it comes to tumblr drama, so I've thankfully not gotten in too deep. I guess that's all I really have to say for now, haha.

Hello. I've been a lurker for a while now, never felt like I had much to contribute though.
Seeing my medallion unboxing video get posted by another user has encouraged me to sign up though.

I see you are from Sacramento. I went to school there for a couple years. Is it still hot and flat? (Don't mean politicians' heads.)

Well, I've only been here since October, but we are still in a drought, and it's a hotter March than I've ever experienced!

For reference, I lived in the Spokane, Washington area before I moved down here just before last Halloween.

You are used to a ton of rain and mild weather then. You're in for a treat this summer. Gets hot in the central valley! But it's a dry heat. You probably will enjoy it coming from WA.

Yes the winter this year has been interesting. The jetstream moved way south which left warm air in the southwest and cold air in the east. It was 14 out Saturday night. Brr.
