Why doesn't he just throw something? A table full of physic objects, and neither the AI nor the player can pick one up and throw it at the other? TBF actually chasing someone around a table would look exactly like that, but the enemy does nothing when Bond mantles over? No reaching attacks over the table? Not trying to grab him whilst he's climbing on or down the table? Can he do the kick on the table like Bond when he climbs over? The chain takedowns in asscreed looks better than this.

My dream Bond game is one structured like Alpha Protocol, and playing like an imsim, but since the industry is infested by incompetent liberals, I'll never get to experience any of it.

The real kicker is that the game needs to sell 4 to 6 million copies to break even, and it's unlikely to get there if the Steam charts are to be trusted.

It's actually performing worse than Dragon Age: Veilguard, while having a similar budget.

It remains to be seen if the weekend will push the peak player count in any significant way, but I'm not really seeing it. There's zero excitement for the game.

That would likely never happen until the rights holder to Bond die off, the reason that we kept getting blue balled on Goldeneye was because the property holder didn't want Brosnan to represent Bond since at the time it was Craig. Right now it doesnt matter since there is no Bond but I doubt that would prevent their brand autism

On paper, kind of. In execution for the less linear levels, multiple routes mostly just means 'Do you go through the door or go a little to the left and go through the window?' to get to the same scripted moment. You do not have anything close to the experimentation or interactivity of the Hitman games that make fucking around in a replay satisfying, not even the more intentionally limited and linear ones like Absolution.

To be fair, I don't think the game is going for Hitman's designs, this is a more narrative-focused game that surrounds being a spy thriller. None of the levels are intended to be a sandbox to play in. However, I do think there's a middle ground between Hitman and 'Giant static corridors that give you the illusion of options so long as you don't try to go off the trail'.

I think the only level that stood out was the Aleph level where they plop you in a big open area, tell you to earn money, and you choose which ever side activity (shooting gallery, pit fighting, sneaking up to a cell tower, ect.) to hunt down and do to get that money.

I finished the game and I liked first it was very slow with all the tutorials but then the game picks up the pace and is much more interesting and the ending was good.
Pros:
- Many combat options, you can go in stealthy and sneak out while taking out guards silently or you can bluff your way or out or you can have a gun fight where you have the options to shoot the environment top blow up your targets and many more options.
- Beautiful locations you go to many places and they are different and you have to adapt and improvise to reach restricted areas the game has collectibles that are hidden and reference older 007 movies
- This game isn't woke at all , the UK had a hindu pajeet as their PM and many mayors are brown mudslimes so idk why people are surprised to see blacks and pajeets in MI6 there is also multiple white characters and bond isn't incompetent or so weak that he needs to be saved by a woman at the end she didn't even want to save him at first he also was saved many times by his male colleagues when he is put in impossible situations
- When you finish the game you can play simulations of mission and you have different tasks to accomplish with different modifiers and requirements
- The black tiktok guy interaction was really funny you can also interact with jacksepticeye
- The animation is smooth I will make a section later comparing it to the hitman gameplay
- The game runs smooth it is has few massive places with a lot npcs that causes my gpu to work harder but the rest was smooth


Cons:
- A bit pricey and the preorder that gave you the deluxe edition is just cosmetics that you can use only on the simulator and not in the main mission I preordered the game thinking the bonus will be useful for the main game and they also didn't let us preload it I felt a bit deceived
- Many ad placement there is a coke zero can or vending machine in many missions also in one mission they empathize that you need to escape using a LAND ROVER I wonder if they had a word count since I understood it is a land rover and not a spaceship or teleportation device
I found it weird that the warlord who beheaded someone because he stole medicine for his sick daughter was humanized he even comes in to help you at the end of the mission
- The bluff system is too overpowered you can just collect enough energy points and if you get caught you say that you work here and they instantly believe you
- You can throw a small mug at an enemy with heavy armor and it will remove his head armor piece and stagger him and you can finish him easily
- I wish there is one more location to visit it felt a bit short for 70$ hopefully they can add a mission later on

Comparaison with hitman
- The animation is way smoother from walking to climbing to jumping everything
- You have multiple choices to sneak past guards but they are much fewer and restrictive than hitman
- You still have instinct that lets you see enemies and electronics that you can hack
- You can drive vehicles in 007 but not in hitman
- You can't run around shooting people sometimes you can't even shoot guards you have to fight them with your fists
- There is a similar eavesdrop and hint system
- The game has collectibles items like postcards and stuff related to the bonds movies
- Minimal references to 47 or the hitman world I would have hoped to see an npc with a barcode I wish they did it or that we find some kind of easter egg later on
- Hitman has way more replayability

That's it I recommend buying it on a sale if you were expecting a longer story I don't recommend paying extra for deluxe edition you can get free suits watching twitch streams and doing other tasks
