Well, I'm really impressed so far. I had very low expectations but this is actually really good. I love the way the opening scenes are done like a Roger Moore-era film. Cubby Broccoli would have been proud.

Finished it and I enjoyed it very much.
A solid 8/10 game and thank god, did Bond act like bond in it.
after over 20 years since the last good bond game (everything or nothing) it is good to have a fun and solid game again.
For bond fans, this is a must.
Gameplay is basicly divited into three parts:
The social stealth (which is most liket the Hitman games), regular stealth and combat.
I found the shooting part of combat to be the most wonky, but still good.

The driving was ass in my opinion and the whole running to next piece of cover.
I know it's not Hitman but the fact Bond doesn't change outfits kind of ruins the vibe for me. I just started the part after he was attacked at home and you mean to tell me no one mentioned that he wasn't dressed properly? Or the fact that just a fucking hat is enough to convince the boys in the laundry room he's one of theirs?
To be fair, practically every Bond game has been T rated likely because of executive meddling from MGM. I think Everything or Nothing is an exception least I checked on the N64.

and double fuck off with gating the attires and customizations under the sim mode.

The developers used 7 years on a 15 hour game on rails with mediocre graphics and gameplay riding the coattails of a massive IP. They also openly disrespecting Bond, calling the franchise tone deaf and that this Bond stood for ”modern values”. Now take a look the IO 007 First Light website, it contains a comprehensive plan for celebrating queer events, supporting feminist empowerment, developing DEI partnerships and hiring.
You did bend over when they gave you one hot female character among the sea of DEI slop. You should be ashamed of yourself.
