The whole Tommy situation is so fucked. On one hand it’s fucked up that his mom is so protective and keeps all of his money, but on the other hand she probably has a bit of a reason to do it. Tommy is clearly not all there mentally, and seeing that he has a history of attacking his mother may show that Tommy is a lot kookier than we think.

i agree. while i don't agree with some of her parenting methods, he's living in her house and he still has to obey her rules even if he is an adult. and i imagine if she didn't watch his finances he'd blow it all on booze and toys in an afternoon.
