I think you guys might be getting confused as their is both the regular military as well as the IRGC miltarty so in THAT regard there are multiple entitys but the entire government, from local to provincial to federal is ALL IRGC

My first thought was the possibility of a "ceasefire" in the style of Israel and Lebanon where the U.S. gets to maintain its position that the ceasefire is still in place with what they recognize as the government of Iran while raping the IRGC. Prevents B&PP day and Pezeshkian gets to farm izzat by being able to claim that he was the one who ended the war and maybe gets to be the U.S. puppet instead of an IRGC puppet once the dust settles. May just depend on if he's more afraid of the IRGC putting a bullet in him or the U.S. dropping a tomahawk on his head, he doesn't seem like someone with strong convictions so I suspect he'll do whatever seems most likely to keep him alive just as he has so far.

Yes, but not in the way you seem to think. They're just comparing the current estimated activity to the baseline predicted activity, so the relative goodness of a particular shop is accounted for, because it's only being compared to itself (and it has the same "goodness" as itself). The baseline prediction is just going to be something like a weighted average of historical estimates of activity at the same location at the same time of day and day of week, or something like that.

Agreed, hard to imagine any scenario without more U.S. strikes unless Trump completely cucks on the nuclear issue which seems very unlikely. Possible that if the U.S. eliminates enough of the IRGC command structure whatever's left could accept Pezeshkian's authority, or at least be unable to contest it/eliminate him, especially if he can convincingly claim to be relaying the orders of Mojtaba "Schrödinger's Ayatollah" Khamenei.
