I wasn't too keen on a war right now in the Middle East. But Trump said that he'll do something if Iran kills protestors. I don't want a President like Obama who sets red lines and backs down. That's bitch tier behavior. If you set the red line, even if I'd rather you didn't, you gotta fucking do it. Otherwise, it is embarrassing and makes us look like we aren't people of our word.

No one thought this. Just like with Iran last year, just like VZ, the same remains true this time around. I have no issue with us blowing up retards when it serves our interests, and yes, you can remove Israel from the picture altogether and the removal of the Iranian regime is still in the US's interest.

My only expectations going forward for "boots on the ground" will be sending in teams to extract Iran's stores of Uranium from the region and maybe just doing demo from the inside on the facilities that were enriching it.

There's really no signs of any sort of interest or intent in doing anything more than this, anyone acting like this is Iraq again, anyone bringing up something frankly retarded like a draft, are...... retarded.

Trump already (not so subtly) has mentioned that boots on the ground will be a possibility by mentioning that there is a chance that American soldiers could be killed (unless he's solely talking about bases and ship strikes?) so it does at the very least seem like he's going for that.
