Last year I was chimping out at Trump for attacking Iran only for it to last 12 days instead of 20 years. I'm not going to get egg on my face again, so I'll just TRUST THE PLAN!

No, it doesn't. Having an autocrat Shah or Ayatollah does not beat a democratically-elected leader like Mosaddegh and with every single coup perpetrated by the US in the Middle East, the region only grows more unstable.

Iraq is better off now than it was in 2003 FWIW.
It's taken a while for the sectarian conflicts to die down (which to credit Saddam, he did manage to control under his reign).

Last time, they did the biggest missile attack in History on Israel. They only destroyed a parking lot and killed 2 Palestinians. They are absolutely useless
