Iran has launched aerial drones at Israel, appearing to mark a widely anticipated reprisal attack.

Israeli TV said the salvo was expected to reach Israel at 02:00 on Sunday (23:00 GMT on Saturday).

Iran's Revolutionary Guards said they had launched missiles at Israel as well drones, Iranian state media say.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they were on high alert and "monitoring all targets". Israel's prime minster convened a meeting of his war cabinet.

Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq have closed their airspaces, and Syria and Jordan have put their air defences on alert.

Iran had vowed to retaliate for an attack on its consulate in Syria on 1 April which killed seven military officers, including a top commander.

It accused Israel of carrying out that attack. Israel neither confirmed nor denied it.

Shortly before news of Iran's drone launches, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country's "defensive systems" were deployed.

"We are ready for any scenario, both defensively and offensively. The State of Israel is strong. The IDF is strong. The public is strong.

"We appreciate the US standing alongside Israel, as well as the support of Britain, France and many other countries."

After news broke of the attack, US National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said: "President Biden has been clear: our support for Israel's security is ironclad."

"The United States will stand with the people of Israel and support their defence against these threats from Iran."

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak condemned Iran's "reckless" attack, vowing that the UK would "continue to stand up for Israel's security and that of all our regional partners".

Doubt that Iran went full on out.

They want to teach the kikes a lesson, and respond to the embassy strike, they don’t want to start a full on war.
Its supposed to hurt, but its also a warning, "We can do this, don't make us keep doing it".

Is this it?
Is this the prelude to WW3?
If it is, the prelude will be considered to be Ukraine in historians eyes. A full blown war of occupation is the decisive end of "The end of history" and the start of whatever the new period is.

Lol!

Remember when US spoke up and everyone listened? Today nobody gives a fuck. Biden shits his pants on the regular, what are the odds that he will remember this tomorrow?

Meanwhile, the little King is trying hard to be the bestest goy of all the goys!

I’m sure this is deeply popular in Jordan.

The sooner they string him up Mussolini style the better.

Hey, there’ll even be a PALESTINIAN STATE when that happens!

What percentage of the US population do you think actually wants to be a part of this? The right doesn't want to help because Jews and the left doesn't want to help because the poor brown people didn't do nuffin. Is it just US Jews and politicians?
Jewish politicians are the cause of this. I hate israel for their influence on daily american life. Every aspect is jewish.

Detonating a nuke mid air works against nukes by messing with its the incoming nukes own fissile material, rendering it inert. Russia has a system like that.

Not sure if it would work on regular explosives, and it needs a neutron bomb, and has a range of a few kilometers. I wonder where all the missiles are headed. Are they all headed to Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, or spread out more?

Iran fucked up. They're picking a fight with Jews who have nukes in their back pocket, but won't even need to use them.
“Muh Israeli NUKES!” Is a retarded argument.
Iran got enough poison gas to kill everyone in Israel twice over, but they’re not going to use it, for the same reason why Israel won’t use nukes.

Israel was of the mistaken impression that they’re still in charge in the neighborhood, and that’s why they were retarded enough to bomb the embassy.

They totally forgot that:

A: They’ve lost most of their deterrence after seeing how easily they folded to Hamas last year, and:

B: It’s no longer the early 2000’s where Israel was the only power in the region with reach. Iran has spent decades preparing for a strike like this. Drones have changed everything.

Israel also can’t afford a war. Their little Arab killing spree last year has emptied the coffers big time, and they had to quit before finishing the job.

Israel illegally bombs an Iranian Embassy in Syria because a supposed terrorist is in there after Israel bombs the shit and invades the north and south of gaza.

Why do the UK and France need to help them out and accept a clear breach of international law? They put up their pathetic Israeli diplomats and former soldiers on the TV channels trying to play victim after wrecklessly bombing places they shouldn't. A lot of people in the west don't buy this garbage rhetoric, the west shouldn't even get involved. This is their fault.

Biden is weak, he should've been tough on stopping Israel from heavily bombing Gaza/invading South Gaza and then they wouldn't be emboldened to bomb that Iranian Embassy. Now Iran sees a weak US and doesn't care about the fake cringey tough guy act from Biden saying "don't" because they know the US won't do shit.
