The guy has been documented for about 15 years. News of his arrest traveled across the entire world hitting many major publications, video game and comic book sites. He trended on Twitter for an entire day under several different hashtags and people who made content about ChrisChan suddenly got thousands of followers. Videos were made all across the internet exposing the audio and introducing an entirely new generation to ChrisChan. Their entire life has been documented coherently on a website and sources and images have been backed up proving virtually everything. They are not only one of the most strange and fascinating people to ever exist, but they are also technically an artist and one of the most famous transexuals and autistic people in the world. Now, Chris is known as a man who fucked his own mother, a crime that is so bizarre and rare that it wasn't even an option for the drop-down menu for the police when they uploaded his mugshot. This case is also important from a legal standpoint because of the particular circumstances surrounding the case, such as the notoriety of Chris in general and the fact that both Chris and his mother are both impaired. The rulings on this case will mostlikely be seen as setting precedents for future cases involving mentally handicapped people and also the legality of placing convicted sex offenders who identify as women with other women. There is a lot here that is at least worth documenting historically, at least as a footnote, if just for the legal precedents that this will no doubt serve. On a psychology level, the life of ChrisChan shows what happens when a mentally ill person is rejected treatment and the community fails to intervene. None of the events that happened would have happened if the police and others had done their job and intervened when they should have, which would have been when there was clear evidence of Barb's impairment, financial misuse and odd sexual behavior directed at his mother. Chris is a horror story but also an important case that will be worth studying for decades by those who work in crime-prevention or mental health.

Do these recent events make Chris more eligible for a page on Wikipedia or no?
Is Chris historically relevant?

Or is it better for humanity that we all forget?

Wikipedia is so stuck up when it comes to weird stuff like this, meanwhile a bunch of boring youtubers get pages all the time. It'd obviously be filtered with a left wing bent and talk about how toxic places like us and ED are, but it'd be neat to just see him acknowledged. They can't bullshit about him not being a notable enough figure

Chris is no more special than any other nerd on the internet who wants to create and put their work out there. Chris is only considered "significant" because the cult that has gradually formed around him over the years specifically went out of their way to engineer that significance. That may make him special to you, but that doesn't make him special in general.

And no recent events don't change shit. If I decide to go outside right now and rape an old woman that doesn't automatically earn me a mention on Wikipedia.

yes, but wikipedia would ruin it with it's sjw biased editors and users.
Chris is no doubt bad optics for a lot of movements. Transexuals, Gamers, Virgins, Autists, Bronies, Sonic fans, etc. Chris would fall under several protected groups and thus if he cannot be turned into a hero, role model or victim, he will most likely be driven into obscurity to protect the interests of progressivism.

Plenty of people are famous for bad or stupid reasons and get wikipedia pages. If Chris isn't notable enough now that he had sex with his mom, what would Chris have to do to be famous enough? Star in a hollywood picture? Shoot up a school? Win a fishing tournament? The fact Chris didn't have to work at it and is as famous as they are shows that there is something intrinsically notable about Chris.

Chris is a cautionary tale of epic proportions. It's really just astounding how much could be done to even help him a little bit but at this point he needs at least a mention. Preferably an unfiltered mention but it's Wikipedia what else can you do with the snowflakes that edit Wikis.

He's done fucked up big time and the world needs it archived for the future generations to see how fucking awful humanity can be sometimes.

Chris' latest misdeeds are only as widespread on the internet right now as they are because it's a combination of the degree to which the people who have been following his escapades all this time have artificially bigged him up, and the severity of his crime. Poking the bear and then watching as the bear rips someone's head off doesn't make the bear any more special than any other bear, and that is precisely what is going on with Chris here. This could've potentially happened with any autist out there, and it only happened with this one because this is the one half the internet decided to poke.

Sooner or later somebody is going to write a book about this. If only because it's technically true crime now, and as we all know there's nothing America's wine moms love more than stories of abuse and neglect. And this one's a doozy.

Anyway, wikipedia's "historical relevance" thing was always bullshit. They just don't want their site associated with cyberbullying. Guess maybe that ship has sailed now.

Chris is a cautionary tale about what happens when a mentally impaired man is given free reign to explore the deepest depths of his sexual depravity without intervention. The entire story of Chris really is one about his desire and lust for sex. This caused everything. Inevitably he became so desperate for sex he raped his own mother. He clearly didn't understand concepts like consent or the dangers of letting his sex drive control him. There was an obvious lack of morality that was not firmly instilled in him when he was young. I'm not religious but I think had he stuck with Christianity and had a strong male role model none of this would happen. He not only rejected Christianity, but he rejected masculinity, rejected the companionship of men and ultimately become an abomination with an insatiable sexual appetite and no moral foundation. If it wasn't Barb it would have probably been anyone that happened to live with him.
