Is HR causing the competency crisis?

Let's keep in mind a lot of places devote the bare minimum to HR, so much so that HR isn't even doing the hiring but some outsourced bullshit which has a bunch of AI filters on resumes that will filter out employees who don't write 100% in the style the AI wants.
That might have exacerbated things but it is not incidental that HR is almost exclusively women and gay or at least effete men.
Which is really weird. There should be nothing inherently effiminate about HR, since it's just managing who gets hired or fired. That's an incredibly important task for any organization, arguably the most crucial task since an organization without rank and file is totally incapable. Why did women take over this job, and is the fact women took it over any part of the reason why businesses are so bloated and incompetent?
 
HR departments are government minders into the function of business. more businesses than you think have affirmative action plans (AAPs) that are mandated by the government. DEI is just the latest rebranding of that practice which has been in place since the 1970s.

cybersecurity is another recent innovation of government keeping tabs on business as well. currently, government employees get an email every time something embarrassing leaks out warning them not to take a look for themselves or risk getting fired. eventually this will be extended to "federal contractors" (almost every large corporation) as well.

On the Day of Reckoning, HR cunts and recruiters will be the first to go.
One of the only good things about enduring a company merger is seeing HR get ‘rationalised’ as the company realises it has two of every post and now only needs one. It’s one of the few times that you can sit back and truly enjoy the process.

Sure. I've said before that the people that Disney hired to build the original parks (basically pre-1985) don't exist anymore, all dead or retired, and their current group of people seems to be incapable or unable to develop original, creative concepts, instead just slapping on some existing property on an off-the-shelf ride. But again, all they really have to do to restore the "magic" is just to actually hire better people. Their hiring system and the people they have working there is probably nothing like what they had before.

There are other systems, arts, science, and so forth that are documented well enough that someone smart could understand them, understand how they work, and so on. In the case of someone like Claude Shannon, a scientist at Bell Labs who came up with the whole concept of information theory, you have to give people a chance that could come up with something like that and accurately describe it in a paper, but you DO need to have people who may not come up with something like that, but need to understand it, and the people that are put in these types of jobs can't even do that.
 
I'm looking for a job these days, I'm really starting to get the feeling that women in HR/recruiting/management when hiring a man for a role that requires technical expertise is the problem. I'm not even aiming that high, just to get in somewhere and work up to where I was. They just don't understand what you are talking about and you have to really dumb it down for them.

These women want to hire someone that will be their friend and go to lunch with them. HR is all women, recruiters are 99% women in my current experience.
 
People like me who want to do a good job, help create more efficient systems, etc. are just not appreciated anymore. Worst case is your efficiency causes you to lose your job. Now if I smell even a hint of DEI going on at a company I won't even apply. Some people have paid off their homes and have small nest eggs, we do want to continue to work but refuse because we know the system is rigged against us so why not just take an earlier retirement? Y'all been pressing and pushing for us old-timers to move aside and make way so we did, and we are, and until some fucking sanity is restored in the whole hiring/training process that highlights competence and on-the-job skills rather than hiring for dIvErSiTy and training that emphasizes (and infantilizes) interpersonal relationships (i.e. avoiding microaggressions you chud)

Found two people in the recent applications and the rest followed soon after. HR vexed because I took the liberty to FUCKING ADJUST TO THE SITUATION like any functional human being should be able to.

What I wanted to convey is that those mouth breathers are not trying in any way, shape or form to place you in an appropriate role, even if one is available. If your application doesn’t fit, their default drone behavior is to:

a) wait
b) find a pajeet (since they are readily available on every fucking fence and drive the personnel costs down)
 
^^^^Adding to the above, the problem is especially bad in larger and/or publicly traded companies. Even if there isn't actual malice in those kinds of places, they still have to abide by a fuckton of both governmental and contractual (insurance, compliance, etc) regulations which will virtually guarantee it is just safer to let the position be open and rot rather than hire a non tranny white male.

Decades ago when quotas started to get enforced lest you get slapped with an EEOC lawsuit, businesses stuck women and blacks in the places where they would hypothetically do the least amount of harm like human resources, call centers, or customer service. They should’ve thought beyond the first step that having departments that are concentrated with incompetent fuckwits that are full of victimhood ideology would backlash against them. Once again, the sleights of hand that they thought would take care of this mess versus fighting back at the beginning are the real root cause of the competency crisis.

The competency crisis is the result of generations of people refusing to stand up for themselves. Now we’re in too deep and medium and large companies have DEI plans that commit to actively reducing the amount of white men who work at these places, especially in management roles. If you want to get promoted, your ass better have someone in the right place high up enough who can go to the mat for you because most are just going to shrug their shoulders and tell you that they tried and if you don’t like it, go work somewhere else that has the same antiwhite hiring policy.
 
Hiring they should stay out of. Their job should be to process the paperwork and they should have zero input into who gets interviews. It’s too complex for an admin to do more than pass CVs on.
. I remember a few years back we had two main contenders for a job
1. Female, nice looking but not playing on that. Spoke multiple languages, PhD, extensive experience in the field, two people in the company saw she was applying and said they’d worked with her before and she was amazing, hire her
2. Very good looking bloke. Thick as a brick. 2:2 from a mediocre uni. O experience. That slimy car salesman type. Flirted with HR.
They hired option 2.
It was such a non comparison, I actually pushed back on it. Why did you hire him over her? She’s objectively better. The answers were things like:
‘We just don’t like her’ - I do t give a shit, she was highly experienced and a known team player who works well with others.
‘I didn’t like her attitude.’ - she didn’t have an attitude. Again, trusted people said they’d worked with her and she was great.
Basically, they hired a bloke who they thought one of them could sleep with. He was so unbelievably bad at the job that senior management complained about it.
The only input HR should have are posting the ad we’ve written, collating the replies, asking us who we want to interview, arranging times for it, and when we tell them who we want, get references and process the contract. That’s it. Admin only.
HR have gone from being an admin function that does what they’re told to dictating terms and it’s a terrible shift

As I said, they want to hire a new friend to go out to lunch with and they were jealous of her abilities. One of the HR women that interviewed me said she got the job in that company because her friend she had worked with (In HR) before worked there in the HR department...

HR bullshit is just one aspect of the broader cultural shift of allowing women into the workplace, or rather of legally mandating that women MUST be assumed to be exactly the same as men in all aspects. Of course, this is extremely far from reality. The reality is that men are results-oriented and much more able to focus on concrete goals. Whereas women are less concerned with results than they are with how everyone around them is feeling, and devote large amounts of their time and energy to managing their own anxiety rather than doing anything productive.

Women are also very talky and often demand attention. When you force men and women together in a workspace, the men have to accommodate these behaviors from the women, as in this culture any sort of conflict between male and female leads to the male automatically assumed as the bad guy regardless of truth or circumstance. Even if a guy could tell a woman off and "win" just the fact of having to bother with the whole situation in the first place completely changes the dynamic of the work environment.

Instead of being able to actually focus on innovating or accomplishing something useful the men have to be dragged into retarded DEI town halls and sit through long, pointless meetings where women ramble at each other over trivial details. I believe large swathes of the "economy" are fake or even counterproductive due to this effect, as so much white collar work now is fake-work that just consists of busy work for women (and sometimes token DEI hires) to make them feel like they are useful and doing something, but creates little if any real value, and often actively impedes whatever the actual product or service of their employer is. I have a theory that all this fake-work is propped up by unsustainable deficit spending from the government, and sooner or later the bill will come due in some form (possibly 2008 was a warning shot of what it might look like).

If you go and look at all of the major innovations in history I am pretty sure that in the vast majority of them, maybe all of them, they were accomplished by teams of over 90% men. If you look at the room at NASA for the moon mission for example, or the staff on the Manhattan Project, it's gonna be close to 100% white and Jewish men. If women are present at all they're not in technical or decision-making roles they're secretaries or something like that. I feel confident that in zero of these cases ever has the big new innovation or accomplishment been the result of a majority-female team.

And if you look at the innovation that happens today, it's all in tech, which is extremely male-dominated. I remember someone posting and comparing a photo of people working at Twitter before Musk, and then a photo of some of the people who were left after he bought it and fired 90% of the company. The first picture was very "diverse" and at least half women, I think it was more than half. The second was like 80% white and Asian men. The Musk Twitter instance is also a rare natural experiment where you can actually see in real life just how unnecessary and fake so much of the "work" at Twitter was. He fired almost everyone and the end product never suffered in any meaningful way. All those women and DEI hires were mooching off a much smaller number of competent whites/Asians who were providing basically 100% of the actual value.

This also explains how and why the male as a provider is our evolutionary norm. In practice, basically all of the actual work in society gets done by men. Thus, women have to rely on men to provide for them, but in exchange can spend what energy they have on reproduction because no one expects them to actually provide for themselves in the same way that men can. The modern state full of "career women" is a significant deviation from this, enabled by government bureaucracy and wealth transfers.

The fact that those broads who bragged on social media that their day was basically "attend meetings and drink coffee" were a) hired and b) not shown the door immediately shows how messed-up the tech sector is.

They aren't even being subtle about it. They proudly talk about how they gatekeep "weirdos" from the industries they sink their claws into.
 
You know at convenience stores how they have the "leave a penny, take a penny," in case you're short ten cents or something? Well, it's not illegal to just go in and take the coins without purchasing anything. Society isn't ready for that to happen at scale, but it's legal. Now, imagine that every city suddenly had 100s or 1000s of outsiders who go into all the stores every hour and take all the coins. The leave a penny take a penny trays would disappear, and we would all complain that convenience stores just aren't as convenient and friendly as they used to be.

The same thing is happening in the workplace.

Not just White, but literal former Nazis. All the Space Race was is proving American Nazi scientists are better than Soviet Nazi scientists at rocket science. Now it's Russian scientists inventing glide bombs and suicide drones (the real Butlerian Jihad) while American scientists build phone apps and global warming scams.
