Is It Shameful To Ignore Users Debate Thread

I dont "revenge block," especially not on a forum. I really only block if I just don't want to see that posters specific content on what few socials I have, usually poorly made art and mids I get tired of staring at. If I want to clean up my recommended pages and followers' content then I will. It's a button to get rid of someone's presence, for whatever reason you want. I see nothing wrong with that.

I would never use it, just like I dont delete post I make that make me look stupid, I just feel its a bit immature.
If I go online, I expect to see opinions I disagree with, I expect to have someone insult me at some point and I expect to bested from time to time. That's the fun of it, it mixes things up a bit. Plus there are plenty of users that I have argued with or whose posts I thought were retarded that later on I got along with very well or made a post that gave me a good laugh, if I had just decided to block them, that wouldn't have happened.
I say the only reasonable time to block someone is if they are literally harassing you non-stop. Even then I wouldnt, but I cant expect everyone to hold the same standards, you do you baby boo.

>YOU WILL read the off topic bait posts by users with blue join dates. they are high value members of the community, their posts consistently receive lots of updoots and many of these folx even paid for T&H™ Premium™ badges so they really deserve better from you

i cant think of anything more cucked than forcibly reading someones verbal diarrhea on the internet that you dont want to read because some faggot on a new zealand bird forum told you its shameful not to. if you have ever done this at any point there is no hope of ever regrowing your spine or your brain, you are beyond help

I don't really understand the point of blocking/ignoring people on forums. Is it really that difficult to just not read something and keep scrolling?
I think it is, yes.

It's like ignoring a cockroach in your kitchen.

Just close your eyes and scroll past it if it bothers you so much.

"Forcibly reading"....come the fuck on. No wonder HHH was able to bully Thundedome poltard incels into a DM chain to seethe.

These days the only people I block are people who masspost in A&H.

Somehow, there always seems to be one or two people who compulsively post more than a dozen threads per day, and I have zero interest in reading any of their choice of articles, or the subsequent commentary.

It become a much more navigable area once the highly identifiable problem children are removed from view.

for what purpose? what does a kiwi get out of it if he does as you say, your approval?
theres a button 2 clicks away that can instantly make annoying retards go away forever and there are literally no downsides to using it on any website. sure if you do it in the middle of talking to someone to escape getting assblasted they will rightfully think you are a faggot but there are people all around the internet whose retardation will do nothing but eventually give you brain damage upon repeated viewing so why not just permanently remove them from your screen if you have the option? seems like a no brainer

This is the same thing as blocking, effectively, but you're putting extra effort into it instead of just using the function that does it for you.

You're not as cool or funny as you think you are when you say this. You're just being pedantic.
Laughter. Retarded posts are a feature not a bug
This, too.
"Hee hee, ho ho, I said the funny. Give me updoots my fellow kiwis."

Frankly I'm too lazy to actually use the ignore feature (I just scroll past posts I don't care about) but I don't really see it as shameful to use. It's like the interior lights in a car, is it shameful to use them? No, sometimes it might be necessary, but generally it's possible to go through life without it. However, it would be incredibly lame (and more shameful IMO) to brag about using the ignore feature / the interior lights, though.

Ironically I don't have block list but I understand why people do block other users nor I don't see the shame in it . I simply negrate and move on occasionally will reply if I am in the mood of burning down the house or something similar just to have slapfight .

I don't take myself seriously nor should you
