For about the past ten years, being a rightoid has been the counterculture rising up to meet the left, but I've noticed that groups like Antifa, BLM and other leftist groups are losing steam. Leftist policies seem to also losing popularity. This newly emergent right had to be labeled the "alt-right" to drive a wedge between conservatives, Libertarians, Republicans & whatever the "alt-right" was supposed to be apart from a new generation of the other three groups. Now I never hear "alt-right" used to describe the right in an effort to make them sound fringe, now I just hear "Rethuglicans", "MAGATS" among others, but nothing meant to describe "weirdos on the outer edge."

Part of this could be attributed to Donald Trump since he seemed to rally these specific groups together into one group, but ever since 2016 it feels like right leaning sentiments appear to be taking the spotlight away from the left. I'm aware there's supposed to be an engineered 49% to 51% dichotomy on social media, where 51% is in support of the government machine and the 49% is controlled opposition to give the impression of making progress, but I don't see leftist ideas getting more popular, I see them declining. Democrat ran cities implode into ghettos, California is the hobo capital of the U.S., Democrat policies drive up prices, ect. Not only that, but Democrats hate things like the First Amendment, and wish to curtail it as much as they can. The longer it goes, the more they appear desperate to hold onto their reigns of power where they can, pushing for more extreme measures & tipping their hands.

Far too ambiguous of a post to answer. What's left wing in your mind? Wealth spreading? Redistributive policies? I assure you those are incredibly popular, but for obvious reasons, you don't get to vote on them. Just as you cannot vote on expelling migratory Latinxes. Or banning degeneracy.
Is it the social justice umbrella term? It'll be very hard to fight it, because what you are really fighting here is social liberalism, and almost no Americans are willing to recognize that dealing with social liberalism requires authoritarian measures from the top. You're the country of Freedom and Individualism.
All the institutions that matter are taken by progressives too. In the not so distant past, at least the banks and some other similar fields were more neutral. Now even corporations are engaged in progressivism.
To fight it, you will need a wave of intellectual rightists, with actual principles, not fucktards like Ye or Fuentes or Spencer. You'll need something like millions of Jared Taylors, able to win debates, calmly, and act as a gentlemen at the same time.
No subspecies of rightism that is pursuing freedom or capitalism (which is financial freedom, and always results in amoral behaviors) will be able to deal with the progressives. It's a dead end for the right as it is now.

I figure that like any retarded-ass extremist ideology, the Left is gonna decline the more it is found to be full of BS; the only question being how loud will it get till it's silenced and how much damage will it cause while falling.

Looking at the moral busybody timeline, it took between 30-50 years for the religious right to go from 'well respected' to 'made a complete mockery of'; this also coincided with the time period in which a lot of these retards left/were kicked out of powerful positions within society, or their position becoming considered obsolete. I largely think the same thing will happen to the Left, especially once there is a collapse of University humanities departments, 'diversity' activist groups and the like. The questions are how long will it take to happen and when these things are removed, what will effectively replace their position within society, and what branch of rightist extremism will inevitably become the new morality police when that happens.

While I can't really predict the second part, and only have inklings of the third, I would assume the first part depends on how much money they keep getting (from govt grants, DIE initiatives, etc.) And how much they lose in the long-term thanks to the Internet showing their madness. Which makes me posit we're gonna see their collapse within 10-20 years. I imagine 2030 will be the watershed moment once the activists see the world hasn't imploded or become a burning husk of a dead world, but who knows. They might just change it to "world ending postponed by not-God to 2040!" Or something.

Of course, this assumes no major event causing a giant power shift one way or another. Such a thing would change the timeline, but disregarding that, I imagine by 2035, we'll be treating left-wing 'activists' as we do with catholic priests: a huge source of mockery and derision.

The moment people realize it's less of a "right vs left" thing but more a "control via intimidation and fearmongering about the "designated bad other side" thing is a moment I really really hope for. it's a desperate hope. I know it's extremely improbable given how willing everyone seems to be willing to succumb to simply parroting fake ass bullshit lies and throw longtime friends under the bus for not fitting in the designated purity spiral, but I really do hope for some form of way to reason witht hose that fell to this fucking poison. She never said she hated trans people but she's a terf because she uses "dog whistles and coded messages".
