Consider the following:
Assuming time is an axis of space, the universe moves in time as well as in space. Wouldn't a time machine not only need to move in negative time, but also in precisely the reverse of the motion of the earth, solar system, galaxy, expansion of the universe, etc in order to arrive at the "right spot" in space and time? Sure, it could move linearly, but then wouldn't there be an extreme chance of colliding with something like a bug on a windshield? And wouldn't it take a near infinite amount of power to match the reversed speed and direction of the universe? That's assuming you travel 1 for 1, taking 70 years to the millisecond to travel back 70 years. You'd need even more power to accelerate then decelerate so your travel time is at most 30 seconds like in the movies... How could we achieve such power without getting crushed or vaporized in the process? Wrong/Spergy answers only.

No you could synchronize the take off/landing point by using crystals of hyper-quantum entangled buckminsterfullerene on a designated landing pad, this of course would mean time travel to the past would be limited, the furthest back you could travel is to the creation of the first landing pad.

I think that from a "timeless perspective", all events have already happened. So any time travel into the past was part of the past all along. In other words, I think time is as "fixed" as space.

I heard that if backwards time travel is possible, faster-than-light travel is too, but if one is impossible, the other is too. Also I think free will can still exist if the future is fixed: from a "timeless perspective", there's a single eternal moment in which all choices can be made.

Well, according to a bunch of surveys [CURRENT YEAR] rampant LGBTQBBQ/tranny degeneracy set back LGBTQWTF acceptance by decades, so we have backwards time travel as well.

I've read before that if time travel were possible it would only be possible to go back to the earliest point the time machine functioned because you would require a point on both ends to move through. Example being that if i fired it up tomorrow at 6 am that no matter what i could only travel backwards to tomorrow at 6 am.

This could also be from a Quantum leap episode too so yeah.

If a time machine simply changes the flow of time inside the machine then the machine itself will still be on Earth and move with it, and you won't pop out in space when you're done because the Earth moved.

If time travel (as in travelling to the past) ever existed then it would have always been.

Our universe is expanding infinitely in all directions and dimensions representing all possibly states in parallel realities. There are plenty of realities traveling in reverse time dimensions compared to our own, some of them are even linear like ours, you just have to wait until we intersect one and jump. If you'd like to learn the rituals to navigate the timelines just ask, but be warned Moloch doesn't lend his powers without a terrible cost.
