I think we are still in the very early stages of this saga. I'm positive there is a LOT going on behind the scenes that we are seemingly unaware of.I've got issues with much of the left currently and with the TRAs, but at the moment, there seems to be a truce on here with regards to ILJ and having more groups of people willing to go to bat against her makes it harder for her to spin different narratives. In addition to that, it gets more of the web more open to taking the kiwifarms more seriously on this issue specifically.
Normally they wouldnt want to associate with kiwi, and normally I wouldn't give leftbook or breadtube much slack in general and find a lot of what people in either group support to be questionable, on most other issues and even on some of this issue's coverage. In this case, I think its fine enough to give things a pass here until more people pick up the hot potato outside of the farms.
If this does get politicized, I've got a problem with that. So far, it doesn't appear to be so. Even past that, things can get politicized but people can at least attest to a shared understanding of a basic timeline of what happened and branch off from there.
The march itself makes me laugh, because its another "be careful what you ask for" moment if it does kick off.
It's only a matter time before things really start happening. It's inevitable
