The "cute style, edgy adult undertones", "art appeals to kids" and "angst tends to appeal to kids under 15" is especially poignant in what constitutes art as being "troonified". It is literally made to cater to horny mentally ill retard kids who only know how to make overly simplified gooner art.

I'm going to say that instead, most trans people are suffering from Peter Pan syndrome. Many of them don't want to grow up, and many cannot grow past the emotional maturity of teens. They naturally fit into that artstyle and produce it because they haven't grown and they still like child things above all else.

Nail on the head. The reason why old artwork from the 90s/00s and before (whether that be shows, games, movies, comics, hell even early cartoon porn from that era) doesn't seem to suffer from this look is the fact that they were all made by adults who learned to mature and grow and retain a sense of tact, honesty and professionalism in their work. Even some of the more "mentally ill" types of artists from the past retained a level of maturity in their art when they chose to express themselves with it. Hell even some truly heinous, revolting, ugly works of art I'd still prefer over this "overly cutesy horny" look Xitter artists shit out because it looks so fake, unprofessional and childish despite some of that type of art looking """better""" than ugly ones.

Who knows, maybe when the AI or Chudcel upraising happens and TTD/NEVER GOON laws are enacted, we could retvrn to a somewhat better state than what we're currently in in the art world, but as it stands, we're definitely still in it for the long haul if dumbass shit like FallenChungus can boost people into popularity with their shit art and humor.

Wikipedia is run by furfags and trannies so i would take it with a grain of salt.

My personal opinion is that Wikipedia isn't run by the most competent/knowledgeable people (presumably what the creators intended.) Being able/willing to spend the most time arguing in talk pages and other admin functions, I believe is the deciding factor on who rises to the top.

However, the overlap between a "Wikipediafag" and "furfag or tranny" is, most likely, extremely high. Meanwhile real experts (or people otherwise qualified to be an authority on the subject) probably have little to no overlap. I wouldn't be surprised if they initally had more of a presence, but were gradually driven off.

(I know the "trust the experts" -meme, but currently we have people like "self-identifying INTJ brony" and "bored Chinese housewife" holding leadership positions in one of the most influental repositories of knowledge. Also, sorry for being largely off-topic.)

Kind of ties back to my earlier observations of how it's less a specific "style" here and more a result of styles that already exist being pulled into a homogenous soul sucked slurry that replaces SOMETHING BIG behind the motivation and you can feel that hole.

I do think this counts or overlaps in a way, Hitsujigoods is a Twitter artist that's mostly known for creating a visual novel game called NEET Girl Date Night, a visual novel where you spend time with the titular NEETgirl that watches anime in her room and posts on imageboards whole day. Troons instantly latched onto this character because hecking gender euphoria and her artist often depicts her with
a blahaj shark plushie, an item often associated with reddit tranny culture.

However, the author never confirmed and seemingly avoids confirming whether this character is trans or not.
