Remember when people used to burn these books because they thought they were witchcraft? Call me old fashioned, but burning books because they might make your kids transphobic doesn't have the same *oomph!* as saying your burning them because it might lead your kids into practicing the dark arts.

She backed down the last time and it seemed like she didn't dare to push the issue any further. I think that during the last TERF tweet scandal that she blamed her publicist or something (I can't remember exactly though so don't quote me on that).

Do these re.tards not understand how to separate the artist from their work? You can disagree with their personal beliefs and still enjoy the things they've created without turning into a pack of shit flinging howler monkeys. I don't like Orson Scott Card's views on homosexuality, he's still a damn good writer whose books I enjoy.
Rowling is a tool and I don't like her, but her longtime fans who grew up on her stuff and cherished them to just up and crucify her because she believes something they don't - that's pure autism to me.

Well I can't believe that I have to defend J.K. Rowling this time but here we are.
The thing is that she didn't really do anything wrong. She saw that someone was fired over a petty bullshit reason and her shitty government didn't really helped all that much either because the UK is still being held back by authoritarian boomers that hate free speech too.
If anything, the blessing in disguise that I can see result from this is that more normies can realize how fucking shitty Twitter mobs really are and why pretty much everyone should not take them seriously and also laugh at them too.
If you ask me, anyone with common sense that has a Twitter account now should just make like PewDiePie and dump Twitter altogether.
