reminded me of the time he reviewed a grill and made a snarky remark about one side of the box being in "spanish." except it was actually in french. sees foreign language-must be spanish

Gotta love how snarky and passive aggressive he is as soon as he flipped the box to show the 'Spanish' text.

What? Was he eating a hotdog in one JOTG video back in his Cali days and a Mexican bum snatched it from him and now he had this love-hate relationship with Mexicans where he loves to consume their food but is so passive-aggressive with the people?

Does he even like Sushi? It has vegetables, weird raw fish, and small portions.

Are you forgetting about sushi wars?

To be fair to jack he goes to the shittiest most generic sushi places which tend to be run by Chinese. I recall a very old jack on the go where he actually interviews a (I presume to be a) a laotian or Burmese guy and I don't think Jack realizes just how average the guys skills are.

There is a sushi hierarchy: Japanese owned, then Korean and then Chinese, and if you go beyond that how the fuck even knows what you are going to get.
Koreans can at least have some claim to it given they were ruled by Japan so have their own version of sushi in kimbap (tends not to have fish but rather ham or beef or they fake crab meat).

Not sure why that jotg video isn't embedding

You answered your own question, "raw".

But seriously, he lives in the Nashville metro area, right? He can't find a sushi place open for takeout or delivery? I live in a midwestern city easily 1/3 the size, and can still get decent (not gas station California rolls) sushi to go from a local supermarket chain and at least one restaurant I know of. He's just lazy, what a surprise.
Publix is all over the south and most of them sell sushi. They even have California rolls so it's not too Asian for him.

Has Jack ever gone to a sushi restaurant? I'd love to watch that.
Can't say it would be particularly eventful to watch him order 5 cooked rolls for himself, eat it with a fork and drown every piece in soy sauce. Meanwhile the rest of the table orders tempura and miso soup.

jack gets takeout from another chain restaurant. again, half the video again is them struggling with the app

lol @ the fact that tammy and jack email each other about what restaurants to eat at. fucking boomers. jack also makes a big deal about the fact that they weren't able to get free chips and salsa with their order because their "app crashed" and says he'll have to mention it to them at the restaurant. to the surprise of no one, they order extra everything again

If by sushi restaurant you mean chinese or burmese owned asian restaurants that sell bootleg sushi that is chilled in fucking ice to prevent norovirus from giving you the shits, yes. Surprisingly often actually given Jack's hatred of the brown and yellow people.

This is interesting.
