What the fuck is Logans plan here? Crypto Zoo is old news and pretty much nobody cares anymore. Had he just shut up and pretended that it didn't exist it would have been just a another point in the list of scummy things he's done, but now by actually suing Coffezilla not only does he bring everyone's attention back on Crypto Zoo but he looks even more like a scumbag now.
to use the law to get someone to shut up, a tactic that’s old as time
So was it a scam, or was it a business venture that failed?
yes
Good to know I'm not going insane. This year already had Nick and Boogie total meltdown hopefully the Paul brothers are next on the list.
no problem, glad to clarify

Well it makes sense why he lost his US title at summerslam.
He did a really good job at Summerslam though, and I’m so far from a fan.

He’s irritated the shit out of me since his early YouTube days, but wrestling is what he’s good at and needs to stick with.

Guy has only had 10 or so real matches, and he’s a natural and has put in a ton of work to do what he does in ring.

But fuck him for being responsible for the Prime branded rings, it’s so fucking ugly and distracting.

They were handing out free Prime hydration and C4 energy at Summerslam, optimistic but if he stays in the realm of sports entertainment and shitty sugar filled drinks, he wouldn’t get sued.

Prime seems to be a highly lucrative deal for WWE, like Slim Jim but maybe bigger.

Vince I’m not derailing about, but at least he was always strongly against allowing branding on the ring mat.

Yeah he's a carnie who was made for wrestling, but TKO isn't going to keep the belt on him if they know he's about to get ethered in the press. The prime endorsement money can keep rolling in until he's actually radioactive.

My guess is they are going to keep him away from the product, collect prime checks and then see if around January if the heats died down enough to put him in the rumble. It's not like HHH is going to answer any questions about Paul's legal slap suits with anything more than "we are here to talk wrestling" and people hating Logan for being a douche is what draws money and views, where as people thinking he's an actual criminal is not good for the brand. Either way I should stop talking because this isn't /pw/.

There's gotta be an angle here I'm missing, but I have a theory. Logan Paul has gotten to the point where he's not just some rich asshole, Logan Paul has GENERATIONAL wealth now. I could be wrong, but from the few things I've heard Prime alone was making him like $11 million a week, and that doesn't even include his WWE deal, his Podcast, any investments he has, or any other companies he's involved with, suffice to say that he seems to have set himself up in a way that it doesn't matter if all of his businesses go under, he will have money forever, and likely never be sued as he's just the face/brand of whatever he's involved with leaving his personal fortune likely untouchable. The cryptoegg thing though seems like the one real big fuck up that could actually be tied to him in a way that he would actually be personally financially responsible and while I don't know what monetary amount or legal penalty that could lead to, I think the fact that he's willing to file a totally frivolous lawsuit means it's gotta be way more than the few million he technically lost people.

LOL Imagine pulling a stunt like this after spending the last three years stockpiling clips of yourself singing Coffeezilla's praises and thanking him even after he exposed you. Logan is extremely lucky that he has money to burn on lawsuits.

I hope Coffeezilla's lawyers find even more damning evidence against Logan's scams in discovery that get the feds on his ass SBF-style.

Somehow I've managed to go my entire life without knowing who this dude is.

What type of videos does Mr Paul make? Is it a Mr Beast type vibe? Who watches said videos? Why should I care about this drama?

I want to care, I just don't get it.
Prancing through the Japanese death forest, posing with hanging suicide victims.

Kind of both, you should watch coffeezillas videos. TLDR is basically it was probably founded in somewhat good faith, other than being a crypto goldrush crapshoot, but after Ibanez made some money trading before the initial launch, Logan and the rest basically went fuck it and hoped they could do nothing and it'd die out, so it went scam.

The only winners here are logan pauls lawyers, there's no way he's winning this case. Easy paycheck for these people.

This is just a waste of coffeezillas time and the courts time, would have been just cheaper to pay back the scam and be done with it, except logan paul is a retard.

I've seen all of his videos on this and it seems like a legitimate business idea. The fact it failed and he tried to take his money early doesn't feel like a scam to me.

But it's hard to remember the details, or whatever the smoking gun was. I think it had to do when he sold his crypto involved in the project. If it's between selling early, losing the money to business failure, or losing it by paying it out to random people who had bought in, I don't see a huge problem.

It was all the lies and excuses aswell about why the game didn't come out - eg, "the developer ran away with the code" was actually "I was witholding a very large amount of money from the developers", their little group chat being pretty close if not at times outright insider trading, etc. By the time it launched they'd had the dev issues and the Ibanez issue, he launched it knowing he was never gonna finish the game.

Had he called it a loss before that you'd have a better argument for just naive business.

edit art was also sub par to promises

I feel like I'm from the future or just having major deja vu with the number of times Logan Paul has threatened a lawsuit only to retract it later.
Is it a detriment to Logan's case that he made prior statements saying he was wrong?

Yes, but Logan wasn't going forward with the lawsuit due to getting a lot of backlash and (maybe at the time) realizing that Coffee would drop it after the fact.

However, the tables have turned, and now Logan is fully proceeding with a lawsuit.
