For anyone that missed Jake's defense of polyamory, the rough outline is, Jake and Alison were dating, Ali was right out of an engagement (likely from cheating on her fiance), Ali cheated on Jake, they "talked about it" and he finally accepted polyamory for "both of them."

To me, this sounds like Jake was cheated on by Ali, and being desperate for the best girl he's had in his life, he decides to accept her cheating as long as she tells Jake about it.

It reminds me of that one column by a literal cuckold who sleeps alone at night in his house with his children, and his wife slips into bed at 2AM, whispering into her husbands ear all about how her lover ravaged her earlier that night. As long as you tell your partner about it, cheating is just labeled polyamory and you accept it because you're desperate for this person not to leave you.

Reading that as "She also cheated [on me]" makes no sense. He's clearly saying that she cheated during her engagement, in the same way that he cheated before.

Where are you getting that from? That doesn't really resemble what he said.

I think all he did with the whole AMA thing was prove he is just as detestable as Alison. He is just so passive aggressive about his relationship with Alison and maybe it is partly deserved. On the other hand his wife is beating the crap out of herself, goes to the ER, and here he is getting pissy with us on the fourm. I have no sympathy for Alison and her pedo loving whore antics, but all Jake has done is show us they both have a really screwed up relationship they seem to enjoy.

FWIW, he said they are in fact legally married, regardless of what a search the records of Minnesota say. He indicated he was confused by the absence and said perhaps due to a clerical error.

Let me preface this by saying I actually like you. But it's going to be mean, you just bring out the BPD in people.

You live in Seattle where everyone is rich, homeless, gay, trans, lesbian, or foreign and the police will probably ask you not to make their job hard if they see you doing soft drugs outdoors, oh and there are a bunch of bathhouses and probably the country's most disturbingly wholesome bondage club and if you didn't talk about going to them nintendo would probably not even care. I guess that's not weird enough so I suggest you spend an afternoon going through the jungle doing meet and greets and then when it gets dark go over to the union gospel mission and sleep on a bed made of cardboard out front (they're nazis and don't let you smoke crack inside). It will be a plenty weird and it seems to me that's where you guys are headed if you're not careful.
